Abstract: A joiner system for a channel raceway includes a joiner body with first and second posts, and a joiner wall panel separate from the joiner body. The joiner wall panel connects to the joiner body between the first and second posts to form a wall between the first and second posts. First and second connecting projections extend outward from adjacent the respective first and second posts. The first and second connecting projections are spaced apart from one another and in generally opposing relationship with respect to one another. The joiner body has a snap-fit component on the lower side of a base of the joiner body. The snap-fit component mates in a snap-fit connection with a splice plate to interconnect the joiner body and at least two pieces of channel framing.

Abstract: A solar power system may include a combiner module, one or more rows of solar panels connected to the combiner module, and one or more wiring circuits connecting the one or more rows of solar panels to the combiner module. Each circuit may include an inter-module wiring arrangement that connects individual solar panels to each other in series, and a return wiring arrangement that connects the inter-module wiring arrangement to the combiner module. Each inter-module wiring arrangement may be arranged such that at least some solar panels are wired to other solar panels in the same row in a substantially alternating manner, such that non-adjacent solar panels in the same row are wired directly in series to each other. This arrangement may reduce the total length of harness wires needed to connect the one or more panel rows to the combiner box, as compared with conventional wiring schemes.
Abstract: Present embodiments provide a light fixture having rotatable light modules and an extendable hinged mounting assembly. The light modules are electrically coupled to the light fixture via a cord and a grommet/bracket feature which provides strain relief and a waterproof barrier. The extendable hinged mounting assembly allows the light fixture to be mounted onto a ceiling or other structure while providing a mounted position and an install position.

Abstract: An enclosure for an electrical apparatus includes a tank having a bank of corrugate affixed to one or more walls thereof, with the bank of corrugate including a plurality of cooling fins in fluid communication with a volume of the tank via a plurality of openings formed in the walls, such that cooling fluid can flow into the cooling fins. A cross member is affixed to the bank of corrugate along each of a top surface and a bottom surface thereof and extends along a length of the corrugate at a distal end of the cooling fins. Vibration stabilizers are provided to control vibrations in the corrugate bank, with the vibration stabilizer having a gusset plate joined to the cross member and extending between a pair of adjacent cooling fins and stabilizer with a first end attached to the tank and a second end attached to the gusset plate.

Abstract: An airfield lighting system can comprise a control system, a constant current regulator, and a plurality of light fixtures. The control system can command the constant current regulator to output a current level transition sequence. One or more light fixtures of the plurality of light fixtures can detect the current level transition sequence and execute a command at the light fixture, such as actuating a heating element or adjusting the intensity of light emitted by a light source.

Abstract: A light source, for example a light emitting diode, can emit light and have an associated optical axis. The source can be deployed in applications where it is desirable to have illumination biased laterally relative to the optical axis, such as in a street luminaire where directing light towards a street is beneficial. The source can be coupled to an optic that comprises an inner surface facing the source and an outer surface that is opposite the inner surface. The inner surface can comprise a refractive surface that receives light headed away from the optical axis of the light source, for example opposite the street. The refractive surface can form the received light into a beam. The outer surface of the optic can reflect the beam back across the optical axis, for example so that light headed away from the street is redirected towards the street.
Abstract: A twist-locking fitting for securing a strut to a rod includes first and second fitting pieces. Each fitting piece includes a half-nut portion having an interior surface defining an axis extending through first and second axial ends of the half-nut portion. Each fitting piece includes an outer flange extending outward from adjacent the first axial end of the half-nut portion and an inner flange extending outward from adjacent the second axial end of the half-nut portion. The inner flange is spaced axially apart from the outer flange to define a clearance gap. The fitting pieces are positionable on the strut in an unsecured position in which the fitting pieces are movable relative to one another. The fitting pieces are rotatable relative to the strut to move from the unsecured position to a secured position, in which the fitting pieces are fixed relative to one another on the strut.

Abstract: A method of adjusting output power of a lighting driver includes setting output power of the driver to a maximum output power of the driver, the maximum output power of the driver corresponding to a brightest setting of a dimmer. The output power of the driver is adjustable by adjusting a dim level setting of the dimmer. The method further includes adjusting the dim level setting of the dimmer to a new setting that is different from the brightest setting of the dimmer. The new setting of the dimmer corresponds to an amount of the output power of the driver that is less than the maximum output power of the driver. The method also includes associating, by the driver, the brightest setting of the dimmer with the amount of the output power of the driver that is less than the maximum output power of the driver.

The silicone layer includes an optic control pattern. The glass-based LEP is designed to receive light through the light receiving edge of the glass. The glass-based LEP is also designed to emit a portion of the light through the silicone layer.
