An image that is representative of an item is displayed on a display screen along with images that are representative of each of a plurality of associated tags. In response to a user selecting a particular one of the displayed tags, an image representing the selected tag is displayed along with a plurality of images that are representative of items associated with the selected tag. In response to the user selecting a particular one of the displayed items, an image that is representative of the selected item can be displayed along with a plurality of images that are representative of tags associated with the selected item.

A particular position on the display screen that is occupied by a particular one of the items of the group can be selected randomly. The image size assigned to each item can be representative of the corresponding item's rank according to at least one sorting criterion.

In accordance with an embodiment, a value is obtained that is representative of purchasing activity directed toward a product. This value is stored in a computer-readable storage medium. The value representative of purchasing activity and the value representative of non-purchasing activity are combined and the result is displayed on a display screen. A result of the combining can be scaled and rounded so that the result is a whole number between 0 and 99.
