Patents Assigned to Corcel IP Limited
  • Patent number: 9539790
Abstract: A method of bonding a substantially planar sheet material to a corrugated sheet material using an automated process the method characterized by the steps of a) applying adhesive in discrete amounts to the contact points of the corrugated sheet material, and b) holding the sheet materials together until a bond is formed between them.

  • Patent number: 9212009
Abstract: A conveyor system for re-orienting strips of laminated corrugated board which includes: a first conveyor assembly; and a second conveyor assembly, wherein the first conveyor assembly conveys a plurality of adjacent strips having an upright orientation to the second conveyor assembly; wherein the second conveyor assembly includes a conveyor belt configured to convey the plurality of adjacent strips at a faster speed to that at which the strips are delivered to the second conveyor assembly by the first conveyor assembly; and wherein the acceleration of each strip upon contacting the second conveyor assembly causes that strip to move away from the adjacent strip and tip over from the upright orientation to a flat orientation.

  • Patent number: 8790481
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of forming a board from a number of substantially planar layers, including the steps of a) ensuring a layer is positioned substantially in a horizontal plane; and b) applying adhesive to the layer; and c) moving the layer to a holding station; and d) holding the layer horizontally against another layer within the holding station; and e) repeating steps a) to d) until a stack of layers is formed having a height substantially equivalent to the desired width of the board to be formed; the method characterized by the step of f) removing the stack from the holding device once the layers have had sufficient time to bond to each other.
