The mobile communication terminal receives real time acquired colour data, from which the processor generates a colour scheme for the user interface. The light generating means receive the colour scheme and provide a coloured light to user interface in accordance with the colour scheme.

An inmate computing device provides user interfaces and includes a network interface to connect to processors via a network. A platform application facilitates an inmate interface via the inmate computing device and operates in an application layer. Native modules, designed for the platform application, operate in the application layer. At least one module controls access by the inmate computing device to content from a remote source transmitting the content to facilitate playing and displaying of the content with the inmate computing device. Access regimes define rules regulating the modules. At least one access regime defines rules regulating the access to the content. Each access regime is a function of one or more of an identity of third-party module, an identity of native module, an identity of inmate computing device, an identity of inmate, or a location.

Abstract: The invention provides for the communicating and editing of media files in wireless portable devices. The invention enables a user to manipulate displayed media content and other types of information stored in a personal media device. A master device may be coupled to a display device such as a television display and bonded to a slave device. A user may through use of either the slave device or the master device manipulate media content. The modified media content may be displayed substantially simultaneously on the television display, the master device, and the at least one slave device.

Abstract: A mixture of air and fuel is received into a reaction chamber of a gas turbine system. The fuel is oxidized in the reaction chamber, and a maximum temperature of the mixture in the reaction chamber is controlled to be substantially at or below an inlet temperature of a turbine of the gas turbine system. The oxidation of the fuel is initiated by raising the temperature of the mixture to or above an auto-ignition temperature of the fuel. In some cases, the reaction chamber may be provided without a fuel oxidation catalyst material.

Abstract: A foldable ladder has a first ladder portion and a second ladder portion hingedly attached to the first ladder portion by a pair of hinge mechanisms. Each hinge mechanism adapted to lock the first and second ladder portions such that the first ladder portion and the second ladder portion form an angle therebetween. The hinge mechanism has a shifting mechanism and a ladder angle selector coupled thereto to allow manual selection of the angle between the first and second ladder portions, and a locking pin to lock the first and second ladder portions at an angular position.

Abstract: An LED lamp core, an LED chip, and a method for manufacturing the LED chip are provided. A heat conductive core (6) using the structure of taper column or taper threaded column can be conveniently installed, and solves the heat conductive problem from the standardization of the LED lamp core. A heat diffusion plate (2) is made of copper or aluminum, and the area and the thickness thereof should be large enough, so as to achieve the effect of heat diffusion. A wafer (1) is welded on the heat diffusion plate (2), reducing the temperature difference between the wafer (1) and the heat diffusion plate (2) is primary and the insulation between the same is secondary. A high voltage insulation layer (4), which is required for safety, is provided between the heat diffusion plate (2) and the heat conductive core (6), and the heat flux density between the heat diffusion plate (2) and the heat conductive core (6) has already been reduced by the heat diffusion plate (2).

Abstract: The invention provides a method and apparatus for providing content in a network having a network proxy arranged between a mobile terminal and a content provider. The method features a step of adapting or transforming the content in the network proxy based on one or more digital rights issued by the owner of the content. The network proxy includes an adaption policy module that receives the digital rights and provides an adaption policy; and an adaption engine module that receives the adaption policy and the content from the content provider, and provides adapted content to the terminal. In operation, the network proxy uses the digital rights to determine an optimal adaptation policy and then uses that to transform the content.

The selection element is configured to select a subset including less than all of candidate pixel locations from among a plurality of candidate pixel locations used for motion vector determination based on a relationship between a best candidate pixel location of a first level of accuracy and a best candidate pixel location of a second level of accuracy. The processing element is configured to process an input video sequence to determine a motion vector at the first level of accuracy, to refine the motion vector at the second level of accuracy, and to determine the motion vector at a third level of accuracy using only the subset of candidate pixel locations.
