Abstract: Transdermal delivery systems for delivery of Alzheimer's pharmaceuticals, particularly donepezil, over one to seven days are disclosed which deliver the free-base form of the Alzheimer's pharmaceutical at a skin permeation rate such that blood levels of the Alzheimer's pharmaceuticals are comparable to the approved oral dosage forms.
Abstract: A battery case provided with a safety valve (4) in which a breakage groove (45) is used, wherein in order to stabilize the operation pressure, a lid (2) of the battery case has formed thereon: a thin plate portion (30) obtained by thinning a plate part (3); and a first recessed part (40) comprising a curved part (44) in which the thin plate portion (30) is indented inward, with respect to the case, in a curved shape. The breakage groove (45) for the safety valve (4) is formed at the bottom part (440) of the curved part (44). A first connecting portion (46) and a second connecting portion (47) of the plate part (3), which connect to the curved part (44) on both sides flanking the curved part (44), are at positions protruding toward the outside of the case from the plate part (3).

Abstract: Mineral, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, agricultural, nutraceutical, and other compositions are produced using a mineral composition containing minimal concentrations of cadmium, lead, arsenic, and mercury and containing relatively high concentrations of micro and macro mineral elements, of rare earth elements, of calcium, and of silica. The mineral concentrations are produced by processing naturally occurring clay soil to concentrate mineral elements naturally occurring in the soil.
Abstract: The present invention provides a bumper reinforcement made of a hollow material, including: a rear wall facing a vehicle body; an upper wall extending forward from a top of the rear wall; a lower wall extending forward from a bottom of the rear wall; a front wall supported only by the upper wall and the lower wall; an upper reinforcing wall extending from a middle in a height direction of the rear wall up to a middle in a front-rear direction of the upper wall; and a lower reinforcing wall extending from the middle in the height direction of the rear wall up to a middle in the front-rear direction of the lower wall, wherein: the front wall is located frontward of a virtual line passing through a foremost of the upper reinforcing wall and a foremost of the lower reinforcing wall in a cross section.

Abstract: A system and method for real time delivery of context based content from the cloud (internet) to mobile devices. The information in the cloud is available in the form of software-as-a-service is accessible from laptops and personal computers. The system obtains information from multiple sources in the “cloud,” correlates the information, determines a subset of information based on context, and pushes the information to at least one mobile device. An engine extracts a context based subset of information and correlates the context based subset of information based on the same context or a different context. A data push engine makes the information available in real time to a user by pushing the information to the at least one mobile device like a smartphone, tablet, and/or navigation system.
Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of systems and methods for oxidizing gases. In some embodiments, a reaction chamber is configured to receive a fuel gas and maintain the gas at a temperature within the reaction chamber that is above an autoignition temperature of the gas. The reaction chamber may also be configured to maintain a reaction temperature within the reaction chamber below a flameout temperature. In some embodiments, heat and product gases from the oxidation process can be used, for example, to drive a turbine, reciprocating engine, and injected back into the reaction chamber.
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-core processor system, in particular a single-package multi-core processor system, comprising at least two processor cores, preferably at least four processor cores, each of said a least two cores, preferably at least four processor core, having a local LEVEL-1 cache, a tree communication structure combining the multiple LEVEL-1 caches, the tree having at 1 a one node, preferably at least three nodes for a four processor. core multi-core processor, and TAG information is associated to data managed within the tree, usable in the treatment of the data.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of authenticating a user equipment in a communications network. The method involves sending a message from a network entity to the user equipment. This message includes a set of options for an authentication procedure for authenticating an internet protocol communication over a first interface between the user equipment and the network entity; said options including a “shared key”-based authentication procedure. The method also involves selecting an option from the set. In the event that the “shared-key”-based authentication procedure is selected, a shared secret from a security key established in a generic bootstrapping architecture (GBA) is generated over a second interface between the user equipment and a bootstrapping service function. The shared secret is then used to compute and verify authentication payloads in the key-based authentication procedure for the communication over the first interface.
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed include a system and method for development of core muscles' support, comprising a means for identifying a user qualifying movement, a means for detecting a core muscle contraction in the identified qualifying movement, a means for discriminating between a core muscle contraction and no core muscle contraction in the identified qualifying movement; and a means to provide feedback to the user.
