  • Publication number: 20100121777
Abstract: Recommendations for purchase are made based on customer behavior across multiple sessions. Correlations used for recommendations include: buy-to-buy (cross-session), view-to-view (same-session), view-to-buy (same-session), and abandon-to-buy (same-session) actions. A preview display allows a merchant to adjust recommendation algorithm weightings to achieve a desired result. A closed-loop system is provided with real-time feedback. The recommendations can be based on various segments of other users, including users of the same search engine.

  • Publication number: 20100070514
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to the use of a Bloom Filter in a web analytics application. Large sets of data, obtained from on and offline sources, may be analyzed using a Bloom Filter to find desired patterns within the data. The use of a Bloom Filter in the analysis allows for a more efficient use of resources to perform the analysis.

  • Patent number: 7650344
Abstract: A method of managing application service provider product line variations is disclosed. The method includes receiving a client customization request, creating a configuration managed file tailored to the client customization request, binding the configuration managed file to at least one customizable resource, and deploying the customizable resource to a data store. The customizable resource is instantiated after disposition at the data store.

  • Publication number: 20080086558
Abstract: A system groups the data into sessions to allow tracking and evaluation of individual user behavior. By grouping clicks of a user in a session, the pattern of clicks can be observed, such as which path or pattern of clicks leads to a purchase. In particular, the session data is organized by session, using session transformers or “sessionizers,” before it is provided for database storage, enabling real-time session based analytics.

  • Publication number: 20080086454
Abstract: A system that improves the real time presentation of web analytics data to clients. Real time data is improved in one embodiment by using a messaging system that directs the data stream to RAM memory, before it is sent to the database. A separate path is provided for presenting the real time data, which does not require going through the main database. The data is serialized and streamed in batches at an interval which can be set from the order of seconds to minutes. Additionally, the data is aggregated in RAM according to the desired groupings of data, so that the aggregation is pre-computed.

  • Patent number: 7050989
Abstract: A personalized content delivery system provides personalized content to e-commerce customers visiting client web pages. A content management server, a data aggregation server, a personalization/segmentation database and a content management interface server interconnect via a data network or the Internet/WWW. Client web pages reside upon client web servers and upon third party web servers and contain personalized content delivery code (PCDC), which is executed when a customer computer receives the web page. Upon execution of the PCDC, the customer computer sends a query across the Internet to the content management server, the query identifying the client and the customer computer identity and may include a secondary client identifier. In response to the query, the content management server identifies personalized content corresponding to the client and to the customer computer identity.
