Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a single failure in a heater array and compensating for the failure are described. The methods include identifying two X buses and two Y buses of the heater array having a location of the failure. A confirmation of the single failure within the heater array is performed after identifying the two X and two Y buses. Once the single failure is confirmed, the location of the failure is identified. The methods include compensating for the single failure by adjusting a duty cycle of a heater at the location of the failure, adjusting additional duty cycles of heaters along the same X bus as the failed heater and the same Y bus as the failed heater, and maintaining remaining duty cycles of power provided to remaining heaters of the heater array.
Abstract: Techniques are described for generating an encoded-string automaton for a regex pattern from a decoded-string automaton of the regex pattern. In an embodiment, the process obtains a decoded-string automaton of the regex pattern and applies unique decoded string value(s) from the dictionary of the encoding. When applied at a selected state in the decoded-string automaton, the application may yield a transition to at least one target state in the decoded-string automaton for a unique dictionary value. Such a transition generates a transition in the encoded-string automaton from an encoded state corresponding to the selected state in the decoded-string automaton to a target state in the encoded-string automaton corresponding to the target state in the decoded-string automaton. The generated transition in the encoded-string automaton is conditioned on the token of the unique decoded string value in the dictionary.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a memory device including a top wordline contact located in a region that is protected from erosion during a planarization process, e.g., chemical mechanical polish (CMP). In embodiments, a plurality of wordlines are formed in a stack of multiple layers and a plurality of wordline contacts are formed to intersect with the plurality of wordlines. In embodiments, the stack forms a staircase and each of the plurality of wordline contacts lands on a corresponding each of the wordlines proximate to an edge of the staircase such that a top wordline contact lands in a region on a top wordline previously covered by a sacrificial layer. In some embodiments, the region is proximate to a raised notch at an edge of the staircase. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract: Techniques for scalable virtualization of an Input/Output (I/O) device are described. An electronic device composes a virtual device comprising one or more assignable interface (AI) instances of a plurality of AI instances of a hosting function exposed by the I/O device. The electronic device emulates device resources of the I/O device via the virtual device. The electronic device intercepts a request from the guest pertaining to the virtual device, and determines whether the request from the guest is a fast-path operation to be passed directly to one of the one or more AI instances of the I/O device or a slow-path operation that is to be at least partially serviced via software executed by the electronic device. For a slow-path operation, the electronic device services the request at least partially via the software executed by the electronic device.
