Abstract: Managing user applications is provided. A visual model of user interface display screens of a user application is generated by mapping components displayed within the user interface display screens to screen position coordinates and by mapping the screen position coordinates corresponding to the components to original source code of the user application. A runtime policy for each component in a selected set of components within the user interface display screens of the user application is generated based on user interaction with the generated visual model of the user interface display screens. The generated runtime policy for each component in the selected set of components is sent to a client device via a network. Activity of each component in the selected set of components in the client device is tracked using data that is tracked and logged on the client device based the generated runtime policy for each selected component.

Abstract: The disclosed invention relates to lubricant or functional fluid compositions containing viscosity index improvers in the form of self-healing polymers. The polymers may comprise one or more cleavable linkages, such as one or more disulfide bonds and/or one or more diene/dienophile linkages, to permit the polymer to reform if cleaved during use.
Abstract: Exposure of sensitive information to users is controlled using a first security token containing user identity and user credentials to represent the user who requests services, and a second security token containing two other identities, one identifying the token issuer and the other identifying the owning process. When requesting services, the token-owning process sends a security token to indicate who is making the request, and uses its key to digitally sign the request. The token-owning process signs the request to indicate that it endorses the request.

Abstract: A system includes a location tracking services server (LTSS) in communication with a location owner device. A tracking packet is sent from the location owner device to the LTSS. The tracking packet includes a unique transaction identifier that uniquely identifies the tracking packet as being associated with a transaction between the location owner and a location consumer. The LTSS sends to the location owner device a link that points to the tracking packet. The location owner device uses the link to send to the LTSS information (e.g., a GPS ID) that uniquely identifies a device associated with a location provider selected to fulfill the transaction. This information is used to update the tracking packet. The LTSS provides access for a temporary period defined by the tracking packet to location data that enables the location consumer device to display the geographical location of the device associated with the selected location provider.

Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling variable gain amplifiers include setting a phase at a phase shifter in each of multiple of front-ends of a phased array transceiver, accounting for a constant phase shift of a phase-invariant variable gain amplifier. A gain is set at the phase-invariant variable gain amplifier in each of the multiple front-ends to perform tapering of beam pattern side lobes. A resistance in the phase-invariant variable gain amplifier is set to provide a phase shift that is independent of gain.

Abstract: A power conversion device according to the present invention includes a power supply, a booster unit (a reactor, a switch) that boosts a voltage supplied from the power supply by switching control, a smoothing circuit that smoothes an output voltage from the booster unit, a rectifier that is arranged between the booster unit and the smoothing circuit to prevent a current reverse flow toward the booster unit, and a commutation unit that is connected to the rectifier in parallel to commutate a current flowing through the rectifier toward itself.
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing having a terminating side and a front side that is configured to mate with a mating connector. The electrical connector also includes signal and ground conductors extending through the housing. The signal and ground conductors are configured to engage the mating connector. The signal conductors form a plurality of signal pairs configured to carry differential signals. The ground conductors are interleaved between the signal pairs. The electrical connector further has at least one resonance-control ground bus that includes a ground frame and a support body. The support body at least partially covers the ground frame. The support body comprises a lossy material. The ground frame includes multiple arms that each engage and electrically connect to a respective one of the ground conductors in order to electrically common the ground conductors that are engaged by the arms.
Abstract: An adapter can execute a test script in parallel relative to separate tenant installations in a multi-tenant environment. Such tenant installations can be established within a cloud computing environment. Multiple tenant installations may share some installation components, such as an application server and/or a database, so that these shared installation components are not duplicated. While executing the test script in parallel, the adapter can translate selected values for each test script execution so that those values are distinguished from corresponding values within other test script executions. The values can be translated to reflect the identity of the tenant whose installation the test script execution targets. Furthermore, while executing the test scripts in parallel, the adapter can cause the test script executions to synchronize at specified points within the test script, so that all of the test script executions are guaranteed to have executed to a common point before proceeding.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to provide extended graphics processing capabilities are disclosed. A disclosed example method involves sending a display panel parameter to a shared library module. The display panel parameter is sent by a programmable driver interface in communication between the shared library module and a graphics hardware device driver. The shared library module includes a first graphics processing capability. The graphics hardware device driver includes a second graphics processing capability different from the first graphics processing capability. The example method also involves performing a render operation via the programmable driver interface on a frame buffer based on the first graphics processing capability. The first graphics processing capability is received at the programmable driver interface from the shared library module based on the display panel parameter. The frame buffer is output to a display.
