The power unit is configured to supply an operation voltage to the input/output unit The power unit includes an insulated power device. The power unit is configured to use a voltage, which has been converted by the insulated power device from a power supply voltage, as an operation voltage when the input/output module is connected with a base of the data logger and the power unit receives a power voltage supply via the base. The power unit is configured to use a power supply voltage as the operation voltage, when the input/output module is connected with the recorder and the power unit receives the power voltage supply from the recorder.

Abstract: Image recognition and augmented reality experiences utilize auxiliary data extracted from an image or video, or image fingerprints, or a combination of both. One claim recites a method comprising: receiving a plurality of imagery frames captured by a device sensor; identifying a plurality of key points in each of the plurality of imagery frames; resolving image pose by utilizing relative relationships of the key points between different frames of the plurality of frames; modifying imagery of at least one of the plurality of frames based on resolved image pose; and deriving a fingerprint from modified imagery. The communication system includes an encoder configured to encode source data and output an encoded frame including a mother code or a plurality of concatenated daughter codes based on an encoding option. The mother code and the plurality of concatenated daughter codes have a same number of coded data symbols. The mother code includes a first source number of source symbols and a first parity number of parity symbols. The daughter code includes fewer source symbols and fewer parity symbols than the mother code.

Abstract: A system for securely authenticating software Application Program Interfaces (APIs) includes a handshake protocol that is provided to validate whether the parties involved are licensed to use the system which includes rights to Intellectual Property (IP) and corresponding obligations. The handshake is a Challenge-Response protocol that includes several steps. First, a Claimant sends a request to a Verifier requesting access to a function through an API. The Verifier reacts to the request by outputting a Challenge that is sent to the Claimant. The Challenge is also retained by the Verifier for use in its internal calculation to verify the Claimant's response. The Claimant next processes the Challenge using components under the license, known as Hook IP, and issues a Response to the Verifier. The Verifier compares the possibly-correct Candidate Response from the Claimant to the known-correct Target Response and if a match occurs the Verifier allows the Claimant access to the API.

Abstract: Power distribution management comprises: detecting an establishment of a connection between a PDU outlet of a PDU and a device to be powered by the PDU; and causing the identification specific to the connection to be shared between the PDU and the device over optical communication in response to establishment of the connection. Corresponding system and power cable are also disclosed. According to embodiments of the present inventive subject matter, the connection relationship between any devices and PDU outlets can be determined efficiently and effectively by checking and matching the connection identifications.

Using a constraint optimization algorithm, weighting factors are determined that represent contributions of the subterranean field models to a combined model. The weighting factors are determined based on a statistical constraint defined by a statistical distribution of the subterranean field models and based on an optimization constraint such that a difference between a modeled value of the field and a pre-determined target value is less than a pre-determined threshold. Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and a device for automatically adjusting sound volume, wherein the method includes: detecting and acquiring magnitude of a current flowing through a loudspeaker and/or an earphone; quantizing the acquired magnitude of the current to acquire a quantized value of current audio; adjusting sound volume according to a comparison result between the quantized value of the current audio and a audio value which is set by a user. With the disclosure, sudden change of sound volume caused by the change of music files or different music types can be effectively avoided, so as to protect hearing of the user and avoid the user from being frightened due to extremely high sound volume, thereby improving user experience.
