Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a radio communication apparatus and a communication control method capable of executing processing including a handover appropriate for a communication quality of a radio link while suppressing an increase in development cost, when a handover controller is provided between a mobility manager and a link controller. An MIH function unit sets a communication quality threshold of a radio link in a radio link controller, the communication quality threshold being associated with a service quality requirement value notified by the mobility manager. The MIH function unit also notifies a mobility manager that the service quality requirement value corresponding to the communication quality threshold is satisfied, when being notified by the link controller that the communication quality of the radio link reaches the communication quality threshold.

Abstract: Regarding electronic component mounting in which an electronic component having plural solder bumps for external connection on its lower surface is mounted on a board, in an electronic component mounting operation of previously measuring the height position of solder paste on the board on which the solder paste has been printed, and mounting the electronic component on the board on which the solder paste has been printed by a loading head, whether the transfer of the solder paste to the solder bumps is necessary or not is judged on the basis of the measurement result of the height of the solder paste. In case that it is judged that the transfer is necessary, the transfer of the solder paste is executed, and thereafter the electronic component is mounted on the board. Hereby, it is possible to prevent the poor joint in case that a thin-sized semiconductor package which causes easily warp deformation is mounted on the board by soldering.

Abstract: Provided are a method, system, and article of manufacture for validating stored copies of data images to load into memory. An image of data is maintained in a memory, wherein the image in the memory includes a generation number. The image in the memory is written to at least two copies of the image to storage locations in response to a first event, wherein the generation number for the image in the memory is stored in the storage locations having the copies of the image. A check generation number is stored in a storage location. The image is loaded from at least one of the copies of the image in one of the storage locations to the memory in response to a second event. The generation number for the image loaded into the memory. The check generation number is incremented in response to the second event. The generation numbers for the copies of the image in the storage locations and the check generation number are used to validate the copies of the image.

Abstract: The present invention involves a series of shifting reagents that selectively interact with a targeted functional group of biological molecules, pharmaceutical drugs, small molecules, chemicals, chemical agents, or explosives resulting in a structure selective based drift time shift in the IMS. The invention allows detecting and confirming samples using one or more ion mobility based spectrometers.
Abstract: Raman molecular imaging (RMI) is used to detect mammalian cells of a particular phenotype. The disclosure includes the use of RMI to detect transplanted and/or grafted cells, to differentiate between normal and diseased cells or tissues, as well as in determining the grade of said cancer cells. Raman scattering data may be analyzed to determine the transplant efficiency, disease state, clinical outcome, and/or prognosis of cells or tissue. This data may be combined with visual image data to produce hybrid images which depict both a magnified view of the cellular structures and information relating to the disease state of the individual cells in the field of view. Also, RMI techniques may be combined with visual image data and validated with other detection methods to produce confirm the matter obtained by RMI.
