Abstract: A light source module and a method for manufacturing the same, and a backlight module and a display device using the same are provided. The method includes the following steps. A reference light source module is provided. The reference light source module comprises a substrate and plural light-emitting units arranged on the substrate. Then, plural optical trends between every two adjacent light-emitting units are obtained. Then, plural optical ratios between every two adjacent light-emitting units are calculated, in which each of the optical ratios is a ratio of each of the optical trends to a total reference optical trend of the reference light source module. Then, plural target distances are calculated according to the optical ratios and plural initial distances between every two adjacent light-emitting units are adjusted according to the target distances, thereby forming a target light source module.
Abstract: A system for digital twinning a refuse vehicle includes a refuse vehicle, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive multiple datasets from the refuse vehicle, and generate a virtual refuse vehicle based on the multiple datasets. The virtual refuse vehicle includes a visual representation of the refuse vehicle and the multiple datasets. The controller is further configured to operate a display of a user device to provide the visual representation of the refuse vehicle and one or more of the multiple datasets to a user.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for implementing an edge computing system to realize 5G network slices with blockchain traceability for informed 5G service supply chain are disclosed. A system configured to track network slicing operations includes memory and processing circuitry configured to select a network slice instance (NSI) from a plurality of available NSIs based on an NSI type specified by a client node. The available NSIs uses virtualized network resources of a first network resource provider. The client node is associated with the selected NSI. The utilization of the network resources by the plurality of available NSIs is determined using an artificial intelligence (AI)-based network inferencing function. A ledger entry of associating the selected NSI with the client node is recorded in a distributed ledger, which further includes a second ledger entry indicating allocations of resource subsets to each of the NSIs based on the utilization.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for low power excitation of wireless power transmitters configured to transmit high power. The exemplary systems and methods include disabling a power factor correction circuit of the transmitter, and adjusting one or more variable impedance components of the impedance network to obtain a minimum attainable impedance. The variable impedance components can be configured to operate between the minimum attainable impedance and a maximum attainable impedance. The systems and methods can include adjusting a phase shift angle associated with one or more transistors of the inverter and driving the transmitter such that the transmitter resonator coil generates a magnetic flux density less than or equal to a field safety threshold.
Abstract: A surface is laser-etched to convey a 2D machine-readable code pattern. Various strategies are detailed to minimize the etching time. Some strategies include modifying the code pattern to reduce a path length traveled by the laser. Some strategies include modifying the code pattern to make it sub-optimal, i.e., making the code pattern a less-faithful approximation of an ideal code pattern. In some embodiments the etched surface is the surface of a plastic container, and the code pattern conveys information indicating the type of plastic of which the container is manufactured. A variety of other features and arrangements are also detailed.
