Abstract: Provided are a ground fault protection method and apparatus for a photovoltaic station output transmission line. A circuit breaker on a photovoltaic side is controlled by a control element. Whether measured zero sequence impedance on the photovoltaic side of a segment line has a large variation before and after an action of power grid side distance protection is determined, the variation of the measured zero sequence impedance is inputted into the control element, in condition that the variation of the measured zero sequence impedance is less than a setting value, a tripping signal is outputted to the circuit breaker on the photovoltaic side to isolate the fault; and in condition that the variation of the measured zero sequence impedance is greater than the setting value, photovoltaic side distance protection is not started.

Abstract: A magnetic random access memory cell and a method for forming a magnetic random access memory are provided. The memory cell includes a substrate including a plurality of active regions and a plurality of isolation regions each between adjacent active regions. The memory cell also includes a gate structure over each active region, and a word line structure over each isolation region. In addition, the memory cell includes a source region and a drain region in the substrate on both sides of the gate structure, and a dielectric structure over the substrate. The gate structure and the word line structure are located in the dielectric structure. Further, the memory cell includes a source line structure located in the dielectric structure and electrically connected to the source region over each active region. The word line structure, the gate structure, and the source line structure are parallel to each other.

Abstract: A sludge drying apparatus includes a drying unit for drying sludge as it is transferred by a transfer belt. The drying unit includes a box that covers an upper surface of the transfer belt and extends in a direction of extension of the transfer belt, an air inlet formed at one end of the box, an air outlet formed at the other end of the box, a fan provided outside the box for sucking air in the box from the air outlet and thereby intaking outside air from the air inlet into the box, a dividing portion for dividing the air discharged from the fan into two parts, and a return inlet formed between the air inlet and the air outlet for returning one of the two parts of the air divided by the dividing portion into the box.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a recording medium, a suspension, a magnetic head, an actuator, a circuit board, an FPC, a preamplifier, and an actuator driver. The magnetic head and the actuator are mounted on the suspension. The circuit board includes a control circuit. The FPC is connected to the suspension and the circuit board. The preamplifier is mounted on the FPC, outputs a write signal, to the magnetic head, corresponding to information to be written to the recording medium by the magnetic head, and receives, from the magnetic head, a read signal corresponding to information read from the recording medium by the magnetic head. The actuator driver is mounted apart from the preamplifier on the FPC, the actuator driver that outputs a drive signal for driving the actuator to the actuator.

Abstract: Systems and methods of emulating a conversation about a thematic content event are disclosed. An exemplary embodiment receives a member dialogue video from a community member who is a member of a plurality of community members, wherein the member dialogue video includes video and audio portions, and wherein the member dialogue video expresses at least one of a personal opinion and a personal viewpoint about the thematic content event; generates dialogue text from the audio portion of each received member dialogue video, wherein the dialogue text comprises words and phrases spoken by the community member in the member dialogue video; receives a modified thematic content event; compares the words and phrases of the dialogue text with the plurality of keywords; and associates at least one portion of the member dialogue video having the words and phrases of the dialogue text that match with the matching keyword of the anchor point.

The nanosheet stack includes a plurality of channel nanosheets, wherein the plurality of channel nanosheets includes a first channel nanosheet having a first end region, a second end region, and a central region positioned between the first end region and the second end region. The first end region and the second end region include a first type of semiconductor material, wherein, when the first type of semiconductor material is at a first temperature, the first type of semiconductor material has a first diffusion coefficient for a dopant. The central region includes a second type of semiconductor material, wherein, when the second type of semiconductor material is at the first temperature, the second type of semiconductor material has a second diffusion coefficient for the dopant.

The circuit device includes an image acquisition circuit configured to acquire image data, an image processing circuit configured to perform image processing on the image data to obtain a display image, and an index acquisition circuit configured to obtain an index for performing error detection on the display image. The index represents a degree of matching between a foreground image, which is an image of a given region of the display image, and a reference image, which is a reference with respect to the foreground image. The index is obtained based on pixel values of the display image and pixel values of the reference image or based on pixel values of an edge image of the display image and pixel values of an edge image of the reference image.

Abstract: A system receives a login sample. The login sample is decomposed into first and second layers. A verification media sample is decomposed into first and second layers. The system determines that the first layer of the login sample does not match the first layer of the verification sample, that the second layer of the login sample does not match the second layer of the verification sample, or both. First and second critical portions are extracted from the login sample. A first and second login hash are generated from the first and second critical portions. A first and second ledger hash are retrieved from a blockchain ledger. It's determined that the first login hash does not match the first ledger hash, the second login hash does not match the second ledger hash, or both. The user is flagged.

Abstract: A vehicle power supply system configured to be charged by an electric vehicle (EV) charging station that performs charging with a voltage equal to or more than a predetermined lower limit voltage. The vehicle power supply system includes a battery having a rated voltage lower than the lower limit voltage; a capacitor electrically connected in series to the battery, wherein a sum of the rated voltage of the battery and a rated voltage of the capacitor is greater than the first voltage; and an interface configured to receive electric power from the EV charging station. The vehicle power supply system also includes circuitry configured to receive electric power from the EV charging station, and charge the battery and the capacitor using the received electric power.

The object metadata indicates an object spatial position of the audio object to be rendered by audio speakers in a playback environment. Based on the object spatial position and source spatial positions of the audio speakers, initial gain values for the audio speakers are determined. The initial gain values can be used to select a set of audio speakers from among the audio speakers. Based on the object spatial position and a set of source spatial positions at which the set of audio speakers are respectively located in the playback environment, a set of non-negative optimized gain values for the set of audio speakers is determined. The audio object at the object spatial position is rendered with the set of optimized gain values for the set of audio speakers.

Abstract: Systems for contactless authentication and event processing are provided. In some examples, functionality of a self-service kiosk may be requested. In response, a user may be authenticated and a first interactive user interface may be generated and displayed by the self-service kiosk. A second, different interactive user interface may be generated and transmitted for display by an event processing device. A user may select an option displayed by the event processing device. The user selection may be made via the second interactive user interface. The user selection may then cause the self-service kiosk to execute the selected function.

A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes facilitating hosting, at a processor of a computing device, a local load-balancing mechanism. The method may further include monitoring balancing of loads at the processor and serving as a local scheduler to maintain de-centralized load-balancing at the processor and between the processor and other one or more processors.

The request message includes an identifier identifying the patient support apparatus and a request to join a second mesh network different from the first mesh network. The controller receives a second key input over the first mesh network, uses the second key input to generate a second key, and to use the second key to communicate over the second mesh network. In some instances, the second key input originates from a cloud-based server storing a list of authorized devices for a particular healthcare facility.

Abstract: A computing device that implements a multithread parallel processing computing platform prior to initialization of system memory is provided. To implement this platform, the computing device executes enhanced firmware that defines a plurality of application processors (APs) under the control of a boot-strap processor (BSP). The BSP preserves backward compatibility of the APs by configuring cross-reference circuitry (e.g., a programmable attribute map) to reroute memory access requests generated by the APs that are addressed to a wakeup buffer to a redirected memory address. Memory at the redirected memory address stores AP initialization instructions and instructions to retrieve and process early stage process instructions stored elsewhere (e.g., in fast access cache memory). The APs, in parallel, execute the initialization instructions and the early stage process instructions stored in cache to complete an early stage process, such as memory training.

Abstract: Systems and methods for permitted network risks in diverse route determinations introduce the concept of permitted network risks which are risks that may be present in a disjoint path calculation. This removes the binary logic in conventional shared risk path determination, i.e., either exclude or include. With the present disclosure, a network risk may be excluded (must never use) or shared (may use if needed). In an embodiment, if a route for a backup tunnel or path excluding all network risks is not possible, then a route for the backup tunnel or path may be found excluding some network risks of the primary tunnel or path except specified network risks that are determined/specified as permitted network risks. Such permitted network risks can be explicitly specified by a network operator or implicitly determined based on a category (e.g., node and/or equipment may be shared network risks whereas links may not).
