Abstract: An uplink data transmission method includes a report procedure. The report procedure includes: obtaining a start page number according to a page queue header of a page queue, where the page queue has a plurality of page records in sequence, the start page number corresponds to one of the page records, each of the page records includes a page size, and the page size is a sum of data sizes of packets corresponding to the page record; summing the page size of the page record corresponding to the start page number and the page size of each of the subsequent page records one by one to calculate a first sum result; and outputting the first sum result as a report size.

  • Patent number: 11507385
Abstract: An embedded electronic device, a boot method, and an electronic device readable recording medium with a stored program are provided. A processor in the embedded electronic device executes a plurality of stage boot procedures after the embedded electronic device is powered on. Each of the stage boot procedures includes: executing current-stage boot firmware; reading a test request message and a firmware location message from a first memory; loading next-stage boot firmware according to the firmware location message in response to the test request message being a current-stage request; and updating the test request message to a next-stage request and updating the firmware location message to a next boot firmware location when the loading of the next-stage boot firmware succeeds, or otherwise, updating the test request message to a failure message and soft rebooting the embedded electronic device.

  • Patent number: 9088476
Abstract: A method of operation of a network communication system includes: analyzing a packet header by: loading a packet input register, generating a forwarding hash from the packet input register, and identifying a routing update by comparing the forwarding hash; accessing a packet analysis bus for updating the packet header; and enabling a routing switch for forwarding a packet including the packet header updated.

  • Patent number: 8948586
Abstract: There are disclosed systems and methods for detecting whether an Optical Network Unit (ONU) in a network may be causing a communications interference due to laser overlap. In one embodiment, an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) selects a pair of ONUs suspected of possibly causing laser overlap. The OLT then grants a first window to a first ONU for transmitting a first message, and grants to another ONU different from the pair of ONUs a second window for transmitting a second message. If the first message is not received by the OLT, then the OLT indicates that the first ONU may be causing laser overlap. In another embodiment, the OLT grants to an ONU a window for transmitting a message to the OLT. If the message is not received by the OLT when expected, then the OLT indicates that the ONU may be causing laser overlap. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8913549
Abstract: There are disclosed systems and methods for detecting and controlling congestion in an Optical Line Terminal (OLT). The OLT has a plurality of ports. Each port of the plurality of ports communicates with at least one Optical Network Unit (ONU), and each port of the plurality of ports has a respective enforced maximum upstream bandwidth. For example, the maximum upstream bandwidth may be enforced by a Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) algorithm. The OLT further includes an uplink port through which data received from each of the plurality of ports are transmitted. In one embodiment, if there is congestion of the data at the uplink port, then the enforced maximum upstream bandwidth for at least one port of the plurality of ports is modified.
