Abstract: A device for dispensing a fluid substance includes a pressurised container associated with a dispensing valve featuring a supply conduit and a stem endowed with a cavity through which the fluid substance is dispensed, a chamber housed inside the container, and arranged so as to surround at least part of the body of the valve, the chamber delimited by a deformable wall and at least part of the body, the valve being of the three-way type, configured so that when the stem is in a first position, the cavity is isolated from the supply conduit and from the chamber, while the supply conduit is in communication with the chamber, wherein when the stem is in a second position, the cavity is in communication with the chamber, and wherein when the stem is in a third position, the cavity of the stem is in communication with at least the supply conduit.
Abstract: The vaporizer comprises a casing (1A) of moulded plastics, an atomizing pump non-removably mounted in the upper part of the casing, and a plug (29A) mounted in the lower part of the casing. The plug (29A) is provided with channels (30A) through which the liquid product is loaded when the plug is in a first position (FIG. 1); when the plug (29A) is urged into a second position (FIG. 2) the channels (30A) are blocked to trap the loaded liquid product in the casing.
Abstract: A device for the transnasal or oral administration of drugs or similar media, comprising a finger-like applicator (3) which has a spray nozzle (6) disposed at its free end and includes a cylinder unit (1) for accommodating the medium to be administered. The medium is applied by moving a piston (7) into the cylinder unit (1). A membrane-like seal (4) is located between the cylinder unit and spray nozzle and is slotted to open and form a fluid passage under pressure. The cylinder unit may be built into the applicator or may include a separate cartridge releasably mounted in the applicator. The piston may be activated in steps or in a continuous motion. A second applicator may be attached to the side of the first applicator with the spray nozzles located generally in accordance with spacing of human nose nostrils.
Abstract: The improved precompression pump has a body in which a hollow stem is slidingly disposed under the control of a knob or pushbutton provided with a nozzle. On the stem there is mounted a piston arranged to move along the stem against the action of a spring to uncover ports through the stem which communicate with the cavity in the stem. A non-return (intake) valve is positioned between the piston and a dip tube which is immersed in the product to be dispensed. The spring has a portion which is substantially cylindrical and another portion which is substantially conical, and moreover is not in contact with the product. The spring is secured at an intermediate point to the stem, acts at one end against the piston and is secured at its other end to the body.
Abstract: The device comprises a pump with its plunger mobile in a cylinder against the action of a spring, and a delivery button associated with the plunger for controlling its delivery movement. The button incorporates a shut-off member provided on a flexible diaphragm fixed peripherally in a seat in the button.
