Abstract: An adhesive tape comprising a layer of metallized polymeric material having a first side and a second side, and a layer of adhesive compound applied to the first side of the layer of metallized polymeric film is provided. An adhesive tape meeting Underwriter Laboratories criteria for use with both rigid and flexible air ducts and air connectors, comprising a layer of metallized polymeric material having a first side and a second side, and a layer of adhesive compound applied to the first side of the layer of metallized polymeric material is also provided. Additionally provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprising a film backing having a predetermined tensile strength and a predetermined heat stability, a compounded adhesive layer coated on a side of the backing, and a release liner material laminated to an exposed side of the compounded adhesive layer.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for coating pipelines with a hot melt adhesive coating and a tape. The coating may comprise a copolymer of an alkyl substituted hydrocarbon polymer in combination with a diene polymer and the tape to overly the coating may comprise a polymeric backing. Furthermore, the tape may also include a pressure sensitive adhesive.
Abstract: A method comprises providing a thermoset cross-linked polymeric heat-shrinkable article having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end has at least one extended portion and one non-extended portion, wherein the second end has a first area and a first edge portion, applying an adhesive compound to the heat-shrinkable article, applying the heat-shrinkable article to an apparatus, positioning the heat-shrinkable article to the apparatus such that the adhesive compound contacts the apparatus, layering the at least one extended portion onto the first area of the second end, abutting the at least one non-extended portion to the first edge portion of the second end, and causing heat-shrinkage of the heat-shrinkable article.

Abstract: A tier sheet for supporting a plurality of containers disposed in rows on the tier sheet and for supporting and separating a plurality of tiers of the containers to provide a tiered stack of the containers. Projections at the edge portions of the tier sheet extend from and above an upper surface and extend from and below a lower surface of the tier sheet sufficiently to impede lateral movement of an outside container disposed at an outside row from displacing the outside container from the stack.
