Abstract: A motorized conversion kit for converting manually operated roll tarps includes front and rear arm assemblies and a roll tube extension. The front arm assembly includes a drive assembly that drives an output shaft. The output shaft is removably connectable to the roll tube extension that is connected to a modified roll tube. The connection between the output shaft and the roll tube extension has two distinct modes. The output shaft can be removably connected to the roll tube extension with a clevis pin such that the output shaft and the roll tube extension rotate together or the output shaft can be retained within the roll tube extension by a roll pin residing in a peripheral grove in the output shaft so that the output shaft may rotate independently of the roll tube extension. Methods of installing and using the conversion kit are also disclosed.

Abstract: An air freshener is configured to be carried by a power outlet of an automobile. The air freshener includes a scent capsule disposed in a housing. A heat source is disposed in the housing adjacent and opposing a permeable membrane of the scent capsule. The heat source is configured to heat the fragrant material in the scent capsule and accelerate permeation of the fragrant material through the permeable membrane of the sent capsule. A hatch is pivotally coupled to the housing and substantially contained within a hatch cavity with an outer surface that is substantially flush with an exterior of the housing in a closed position. The hatch can include a capsule cavity therein, carrying the scent capsule, and facing an interior of the housing in the closed position.

Abstract: A tonneau cover apparatus for removable attachment of a cover to a pickup truck. The tonneau cover apparatus includes two opposing side rails that can be secured to respective side walls of the pickup truck and a securing apparatus that can be attached to the cover and is engageable with respective side rails to secure the cover to the pickup truck. The securing apparatus includes a channel, a locking member and a draw cord secured to the locking member. The locking member is biased toward a first position in which the securing apparatus can be prevented from disengaging from the respective side rail; wherein the draw cord can draw the locking member from the first position to a second position, in which the securing apparatus can be disengaged from the respective side rail. A tonneau cover apparatus including a cover, a support frame and a securing apparatus is also disclosed.

Abstract: Mud flap assemblies including a frame, a securing assembly and mud flap panels; the securing assembly enabling the frame to be secured to a hitch assembly having a shaft, for further attachment to a hitch receiver secured to a vehicle; the frame having a rear plate that includes a hitch opening for receiving the shaft of the hitch assembly. The frame is preferably configured to rest on a portion of a bumper of the vehicle to minimize vibration of the frame during use. The mud flap assembly preferably including a pair of stops that are preferably adjustable and are constructed and arranged to rest against the bumper. The mud flap assembly preferably includes enlarged mud flap panels and mud flap support members for additional support of the enlarged mud flap panels. Methods of installing mud flap assemblies are also disclosed.

Abstract: An air freshener comprises a flexible strand formed of polymer and having a solid consistency. The strand is elongated and has a length greater than a diameter. The strand is flexible to bend under a weight of the strand. A desired fragrant material, different from the polymer, has a desired fragrance and is interspersed within the polymer of the strand. The strand can be coupled to and carried by the carrier. The carrier can be rigid. A talisman can be coupled to and carried by the carrier.

Abstract: A folding stand for use with a mobile device comprises a front pair of legs being spaced-apart from one another defining a gap, and having a front foot at the bottom end interconnecting the front pair of legs. A rear leg pivotally coupled to the front pair of legs. The front pair of legs and the rear leg having at least two positions with respect to one another, including: 1) a collapsed retracted position in which the rear leg is folded between the front pair of legs, and with the mobile device removed from the front foot; and 2) an expanded extended position in which the rear leg is unfolded from between the front pair of legs with bottom ends of the front and rear pairs of legs configured to be disposed on a support surface, and configured to receive the mobile device disposed on the front foot and leaning against the front pair of legs.

Abstract: A pocket is fixed to a cellular phone and has a pouch removably receiving a rectangular card to selectively couple the rectangular card to the cellular phone. The pouch has inner and outer panels, and a pair of elongated slots formed in the outer panel to form an elongated strap therebetween with opposite distal ends attached to and formed with the outer panel.

Abstract: A cover assembly for covering a container of liquid includes: a drive shaft including a drive pin; an engagement device configured for moving axially on the drive shaft when the drive pin engages the engagement device, the engagement device including at least one first engagement mechanism; and a first engagement hub rotatably mounted to the drive shaft and configured for being driven by the engagement device, the first engagement hub including at least one second engagement mechanism which includes at least one magnet configured for pulling the at least one first engagement mechanism and thereby for facilitating an engagement of the at least one first engagement mechanism with said at least one second engagement mechanism.

Abstract: An air freshener comprises a scent capsule carried by a housing. The scent capsule comprises a reservoir containing a fragrant material, and with an opening to a cavity therein and covered by a permeable membrane through which a fragrance can permeate, and a releasable seal sealed over the opening and the permeable membrane to resist fragrance release until removed. An absorptive pad is disposed behind the releasable seal between the scent capsule and the housing, and is capable of absorbing the fragrant material that permeates through the permeable membrane.

Abstract: A vent stick air freshener has a pair of vent rods extending rearwardly from an annular head with a hollow therein, an open front end and an open rear end defining an air tunnel. At least one body is carried by at least one of the pair of vent rods. An insert is at least partially received in the hollow of the annular head. A space is defined between the insert and the annular head. The at least one body or the insert or both has a desired scent material interspersed therein and diffusible out over time.

Abstract: A universal case has a single, unitary, elastic body of flexible and resilient material that can stretch to cover both smaller and larger mobile devices. The body has a side wall, a front perimeter lip, a rear perimeter lip and a web defining a cavity and being integral with one another and formed together from the flexible and resilient material as the single, unitary, elastic body. The side wall, the front perimeter lip and the rear perimeter lip define a perimeter channel to extend around a perimeter of the mobile device. The front perimeter lip defines a cavity and has corner lips with a wider width to define corner pockets. A groove is disposed in the channel, and extends into an inner surface of the side wall.

Abstract: An air freshener includes a pair of wicks extending from a pair of reservoirs configured to contain different scents. A hood is sized and shaped to essentially cover only one of the at least two wicks and movable with respect to the wicks between a first scent position in which the hood essentially covers a second of the at least two wicks, a second scent position in which the hood essentially covers a first of the at least two wicks, and a plurality of combined scent positions in which the hood partially covers both of the at least two wicks.

Abstract: A roll-up tarp apparatus for attachment to an open top truck trailer having a truck box, having end caps at each end that partially cover the top opening. Preferred embodiments include at least one magnet on at least one of the end caps; even more preferably, a plurality of magnets along each end of the end caps, which are configured to releasably secure the flexible tarp to the end cap when the flexible tarp is in the secured position. Preferably, the flexible tarp is wound around an elongated roll bar that is secured to at least one arm that connects the elongated roll bar to the truck box and selectively activates movement of the elongated roll bar to move the flexible tarp from an open position to a secured position. Various embodiments include biasing members to bias the arm(s).

Abstract: A tonneau cover assembly for attachment about a top of a perimeter of a cargo box of a pickup truck. The tonneau cover assembly including a cover, a support frame and a securing plate having at least one locking member. The securing plate preferably includes two locking members each of which is biased toward a first position in which the respective locking members prevent the securing plate from disengaging from a closed position with respect to the support frame. The locking members are preferably interconnected to opposite ends of a draw cord. The draw cord preferably has a pull loop so that the draw cord can be pulled in order to draw the respective locking members away from the respective first positions, so that each locking member resides in a second position, which allows the securing plate to disengage from the support frame.

Abstract: A roll-up tarp apparatus for a truck box having an open top. The roll-up tarp apparatus includes a roll bar, a flexible tarp secured to the truck box and the roll bar, a converter unit, a motive source and an arm operatively connected to the converter unit, the motive source and the roll bar. The roll bar is operatively connected to the truck box and rotatably movable between the first and second longitudinal sides of the truck box. The tarp is secured to the roll bar so that the tarp can roll up on the roll bar to open the truck box and unroll from the roll bar to cover or close the open top. The roll bar is preferably biased in an unroll direction or toward a closed position. In preferred embodiments, at least one biasing member is operatively connected to the roll bar or the arm.

Abstract: A stretchable strap cover for a handheld electronic device has a flexible and elastic pad with four apertures formed in the pad and extending through the thickness of the pad, and four straps defined between the four apertures and the perimeter of the pad. The pad has at least two configurations, including: 1) an initial configuration in which the pad is separate from the handheld electronic device, an in which the pad is unstretched with an initial unstretched perimeter, length and width, and in which the pad is flat and disposed in a flat layer having a thickness the same as the thickness of the pad, with the straps and the apertures disposed in the flat layer; and 2) an installed configuration in which the pad is coupled to the handheld electronic device, the pad being stretched and under tension, and the straps being disposed out of the flat layer.

Abstract: An air freshener comprises a container divided into an inner cylindrical reservoir and an outer annular reservoir with at least two different fragrant materials with different fragrances. A cap is carried by the container and covers the reservoirs. A sleeve extends from the cap into the container between the reservoirs. The cap is movable axially with respect to the container between a raised position in which the at least two different fragrances are released, and a closed position in which the cap covers the container to resist release of the at least two different fragrances.
