In some embodiments, an example method may include receiving, by a sensor of a device, image data associated with a first waste item. The example method may also include determining, based on the image data associated with the first waste item, a product characteristic of the first waste item. The example method may also include determining, based on the product characteristic of the first waste item, that the first waste item is associated with a first waste receptacle of a plurality of waste receptacles. The example method may also include presenting an indication of the first waste receptacle to the user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for monitoring waste. Example methods may include monitoring a waste compartment of a waste container, the waste compartment configured to receive waste items, and determining a waste level of waste items in the waste compartment. Methods may include identifying a waste haul threshold indicative of a predetermined waste level at which a waste haul notification is triggered, determining that the waste level meets the waste haul threshold, and triggering the waste haul notification indicating that the waste container is to be emptied based at least in part on the waste level.

According to one embodiment, a system can be operable to receive a request to offer a vehicle in an auction, calculate a base exchange value for the vehicle and provide, to one or more vehicle resellers, auction information associated with the vehicle. Additionally, the system may be configured to receive an exchange bid for the vehicle, determine a final exchange value of the vehicle, and provide the final exchange value of the vehicle to a seller of the vehicle. Further, the system may be configured to allow the seller to determine a course of action regarding disposing of the vehicle after conclusion of the exchange auction.
