Abstract: Hub centric truck wheel cap apparatus including a cup shaped cap having a cylindrical wall configured with radially through windows. A set of spacer rings having lugs of different radial depths are provided for mating with the cap and projecting through such windows to form spacers in the annulus between selected wheels of different center bore diameters and a centering shoulder on a truck hub.

Abstract: A cylindrical lug nut is formed with a threaded axially inwardly opening bore and a concentric chamfer for abutting the chamfer and the lug nut bore of a wheel and an axially outwardly opening lug socket for complemental receipt of a square drive lug for driving of the lug nut. An adapter may be provided which includes on one end a square lug and on the other end axially stacked bosses having, respectively, a large hexagonal cross section for receipt in a large hexagonal socket of one conventional tire wrench and a smaller hexagonal socket of a second tire wrench.
Abstract: A wheel cover which simulates a machined cast wheel is formed by stamping a blank from sheet metal. Windows spaced angularly about the cover defined by radially inwardly angled borders simulating depth are formed on the blank. A marginal circular periphery is formed into a peripheral flange. The front face of the wheel cover is machined on a numerically controlled lathe, such that the cutting tool closely follows the contour, to form fine spiral grooves simulating machine markings generally concentric about the center of the wheel, thereby exhibiting a machined finish. An attachment device is formed on the wheel cover to complete the assembly.
Abstract: A portable automobile alarm hung over the top of an automobile side window is secured in place by raising the window into its frame. The portion of the unit positioned on the interior side of the glass contains a sensor, a receiver, and associated electronic circuitry. The exterior unit houses an alarm siren. The unit is powered from an internal battery or from a cigarette lighter. The unit may be armed and disarmed by a remote transmitter.
Abstract: A wheel cover simulating a machined cast wheel is constructed by stamping a blank from sheet metal. A retainer ring is mounted interiorly within the flange and the flange rolled thereover to complete the assembly. This configuration provides a relatively inexpensive decorative wheel cover simulating a machined wheel.
