Abstract: A lighting arrangement operable to emit light is disclosed herein. The lighting arrangement can include a mounting bracket and a luminaire. The mounting bracket can have first and second bracket portions positioned about a central longitudinal axis of the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket can also include at least one pair of telescoping shafts interconnecting the first and second bracket portions. The mounting bracket can also include at least one spring positioned to bias the at least one pair of telescoping shafts to an extended configuration. The luminaire can have at least one spring member selectively engageable with at least one shaft of the at least one pair of telescoping shafts to selectively interconnect the luminaire and the mounting bracket.

Abstract: A lighting arrangement can include a luminaire, a driver circuitry assembly, and a battery backup portion. The luminaire can have light emitting diodes in an array string positioned in a first housing and a first wiring extending from the array string to a first plug connector. The driver circuitry assembly can drive the plurality of light emitting diodes and include circuitry with a rectifier and an IC chip positioned in a second housing and a second wiring extending from the circuitry to a second plug connector engageable with the first plug connector. The battery backup portion can be selectively positionable between the driver circuitry assembly and the external AC grid and have one or more batteries and a converter portion with a DC-AC inverter positioned in a third housing. The third housing and the second housing are interconnectable.

The at least one first spring arm can extend between a base end and a distal end wherein the base end can be mounted to a first of the mounting bracket and the luminaire. The at least one second spring arm can extend between a base end and a distal end wherein the base end of the at least one second spring arm can be mounted to a second of the mounting bracket and the luminaire.

Abstract: A lighting arrangement can include a string of light emitting diodes (LEDs), a driver chip, a first switch, a bridge rectifier, and a second switch. The driver chip can be configured to direct current to the LEDs. The first switch can be configured to receive current from the grid for the driver chip. The first switch can be operable to change an amount of current directed to the driver chip to dim the LEDs. The bridge rectifier can be positioned between the first switch and the driver chip to convert alternating current to direct current. The second switch can be electrically connected with the driver chip whereby adjustment of the second switch results in a change in the amount of current directed to the LEDs from the driver chip and dim the LEDs. The first switch and the second switch are each concurrently operable to dim the LEDs.
