Abstract: A system and method for validating and formatting IP right identifiers is provided. The technique includes accessing an IP right identifier from a database, extracting a set of tokens from the IP right identifier, validating each of the extracted tokens against a list of standard tokens, and determining a set of standard tokens for the IP right identifier based on the validation. The invention further includes formatting the IP right identifier based on the set of standard tokens and a format definition, and storing the formatted IP right identifier in a database.

Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus for classifying intangible assets are provided. The method includes determining an objective of classification. The method further includes constructing, via a processor, a Discriminant Analysis (DA) model using one or more test sets of intangible assets. The DA model includes one or more discriminant functions operable to classify the one or more test set of intangible assets into two or more groups based on a set of attributes associated with one or more intangible assets of the test set of intangible assets to meet the objective of classification. Thereafter, the method includes classifying a target set of intangible assets via the DA model.
Abstract: A method and system for determining benefits of outsourcing is provided in a computer system. The method includes calculating on the computer system a first set of resource requirements to conduct one or more of a plurality of processes within an entity. The first set of resource requirements are calculated by performing a predefined set of computations on a set of data associated with the entity. The method further includes simulating on the computer system a second set of resources requirements to conduct one or more of the plurality of processes using one or more offshore personnel. The method further includes rendering on the computer system one or more benefits of using the one or more offshore personnel based on the first set of resource requirements and the second set of resource requirements.
