Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic display of orders and trades are provided. Financial instrument data is received from an electronic exchange or a pre-processing application. The financial instrument data may include a variety of information, such as, bid orders, ask orders, sell orders, cancelled orders, and the like. A scrolling trade and order display with a first axis representing a time and a second axis corresponding to a portion of a depth of market for the financial instrument is displayed on a display device. Financial instrument data is then dynamically presented on the scrolling trade and order display in one or more indicative formats to visually indicate information about the data being presented. Examples of indicative formats include coloring text, changing background colors, using strikethrough lines, different fonts, placements of information, linking symbols, and the like.

Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying news headlines are provided. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to interactive streaming news headline displays. According to various embodiments of the present invention, news headlines and/or stories can be presented in ways that improve “glanceability” over conventional methods. Some embodiments provide for receiving electronic news headlines from one or more electronic news providers. The electronic news headlines may includes metadata describing one or more attributes of a story associated with the electronic news headline. A graphical user interface is presented to a user through a display device. In one or more embodiments, the graphical user interface includes a main window pane and at lease one auxiliary window pane.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating depth of market (DOM) volume flow charts. According to various embodiments, the DOM volume of a financial instrument is monitored. The DOM volume can include volume elements corresponding to bid order volume and/or ask order volume of orders for the financial instrument that are open on an electronic exchange. A DOM volume flow may then be computed, according to some embodiments, by evaluating a function of one or more elements of the DOM volume and/or a change in the DOM volume elements. Then, indicators of the computed DOM volume flow may be displayed on a chart.
