Patents Assigned to CR Elastomere GmbH
  • Patent number: 6910251
Abstract: A transport and assembly device for assembling a shaft seal, particularly one with a seal lip directed radially toward the inside, into a camshaft arrangement for an internal combustion engine is designed to simplify the assembly of the shaft seal. The device includes a first intake area for the shaft seal, a second intake area for a signal generator wheel, and an installation area for installation onto the camshaft arrangement during assembly.

  • Patent number: 6237207
Abstract: The invention refers to an auxiliary assembly element for automatic mounting of machine parts, such as housing sealing covers for combustion engines, where the auxiliary assembly element, which may be attached to the machine part and easily removed, receives the mounting devices for the connection of the machine parts with the machine into supports where they are position-oriented and arrested, so that the mounting devices, together with the machine part, may be supplied to and moved directly into the connection position with the machine via the auxiliary assembly element with the use of an industrial robot or similar.

  • Patent number: 6227548
Abstract: A seal such as a valve shaft seal for use with machine parts that reciprocate relative to each other includes an elastomer sealing lip adapted to rest with a radial spring preload on one machine part and a sleeve-shaped holder carrying the sealing lip and projecting axially beyond the sealing lip for serving to simultaneously attach the seal to a second machine part. To provide a seal with a relatively uncomplicated and inexpensive holder that ensures a safe and flawless attachment and centering, the portion of the holder projecting axially beyond the sealing lip is provided with at least one projection that is directed essentially at an angle towards the inside for engaging a recess in the outer surface of the second machine part.

  • Patent number: 6164659
Abstract: A piston rod seal includes a sealing disk provided with a reinforcement element, a guide mechanism, and a support piece which are adapted to be placed consecutively in a metal pipe or similar object functioning as a housing, and which are adapted to surround a piston rod when installed. To create a seal having relatively few components and a relatively small axial dimension, the reinforcement element is connected to the sealing disk and is constructed to function as a guide element for guiding the axial movement of the piston rod.

  • Patent number: 6123054
Abstract: A seal for being mounted on a reciprocating machine part to seal the machine part includes a sealing element made of elastomer material. The sealing element has a sealing lip defined by two surfaces that intersect at a sealing edge for resting in a sealing manner against the outer surface of the machine part. One of the two surfaces includes a first section and a second section. The first section is inclined at a first angle of inclination with respect to the central axis of the sealing element while the second section is inclined at a second angle of inclination with respect to the central axis of the sealing element, and with the first and second angles of inclination being different from one another.
