Abstract: A portable air treatment apparatus made up of: a) an operating unit for generating fluid droplets to be entrained in air and directed in a stream to an outlet for the operating unit; b) a mask having a body extending around a volume and a surface/edge at an outlet for the volume to be situated near a user's frontal face region, with the mask and operating unit configured so that the mask can be releasably operatively connected to the operating unit whereby the stream of air with entrained fluid droplets flows through the mask body inlet and into the mask body volume; and c) at least one additive component. The mask and at least one additive component, when in an operative position, are movable as a unit relative to the operating unit as the mask is separated from the operating unit.
Abstract: A vapor delivery system having: a) a base unit configured to generate a supply of vapor; and b) a vapor control system configured to allow a user to selectively: a) cause vapor generated by the base unit to be discharged primarily to a surrounding space within which the base unit resides to thereby increase vapor density in the surrounding space; and b) cause vapor generated by the base unit to be discharged primarily to a vapor guide structure configured to: i) be placed operatively with respect to a user's face; and ii) guide discharging vapor generated by the base unit into at least one of the user's nose and mouth with the vapor guide structure placed operatively with respect to the user's face.

Abstract: The combination of: a) an apparatus with a main body and an operating assembly on the main body configured to cause fluid from a supply to be processed so as to become entrained in air in a surrounding atmosphere, wherein the main body has an elongate finger having a length and a free end; and b) a container defining a receptacle for a supply of fluid. The container has an entry opening that is dimensioned to allow the elongate finger on the main body to be directed, free end first, through the entry opening to allow a portion of the length of the elongate finger to be immersed in a supply of fluid in the receptacle. Structure cooperates between the apparatus and container to support the main body and container in an operative relationship.
