Abstract: A scoop or bird feeder (1; 12) comprising a frame (3, 4, 5; 16, 17, 18) having a hanger (45; 20) which is adapted in use to suspend the bird feeder (1; 12) from a convenient place, and a feed hopper (2; 13) which is removably received in the frame (3, 4, 5; 16, 17, 18) and which has a number of openings in the side thereof through which birds can feed on bird food contained within the feed hopper (2; 13). The feed hopper (2; 13) may conveniently comprise a handle (9; 15) such that it can be used in the manner of a scoop for filling same.

Abstract: A bird feeder comprising a bird food containment housing (1) which is closed at the bottom and open at the top to permit bird feed to be introduced, a closure member (2) for closing the open top of the housing (1), means (4) for releasably securing the closure member (2) to the housing (1), and a hanger (3) connected to the closure member (2) for suspending the bird feeder from a support, wherein the closure member (2) is connected to the housing (1) by a telescopic connection (4-8) which permits the housing (1) to be separated from the closure member (2) for filling.

Abstract: A water dispenser comprising a vessel (1) having an open mouth (4) at one end which is adapted in use to be filled with water, and a base unit (2) having side walls (5) and a bottom (6) to form an open topped reservoir, connection means (8, 9; 12) for connecting the open mouth of the vessel (1) to the base unit (2) such that on inversion water is able to flow from the vessel (1) into the open topped reservoir, and a plurality of watering stations (3) in the side walls (5) of the base unit (2), each of which watering stations (3) communicates with the open topped reservoir via a respective opening in the side wall (5).

Abstract: A bird feeding port assembly (1) for mounting to a bird feed containment housing (2) through an opening in the wall of the housing (2), the assembly (1) defining a feeding area (4) having an opening to the housing (2), a support frame (3) which is adapted in use to secure the assembly (1) to the housing (2) such that the opening to the housing allows seed to flow into the feed area (4), and a closure member (9) which is moveable between a first extended position in which the closure member (9) extends outwardly from the outward side of the assembly (1) leaving the feeding area (4) open and a second retracted position in which the closure member (9) overlies the feeding area (4) and prevents access thereto. The feeding area (4) may comprise a bowl (4) that can project outwardly from, or be located within, the containment housing (2). The closure member (9) can pivot or slide between the first and second positions.
