Abstract: By adopting a component index with which it is possible for the evaluation subject to freely move over a screen and cite components of interest of an evaluation object overall image, it is possible to efficiently acquire information of the components which receive attention through the eyes of a typical consumer without being constrained by components which the specialists have prepared as objects to be evaluated, and by organizing and grouping the information thus acquired and displaying together with positions and frequencies of components of interest, it is possible to easily comprehend investigation results.

Abstract: A method for analyzing a thought system of a subject consisting of at least one individual is disclosed. The analyzing method comprising the steps of: obtaining a plurality of items perceived by the subject; obtaining relationship information of all possible item pairs based on perception of the subject with respect to relationship between two items of each of said all possible item pairs; generating a relation matrix of the plurality of items based on the relationship information of each of the items with respect to the all other items; transforming the relation matrix to a display matrix projected on a representation space having dimensions lower than the number of the items and reflecting a relationship between the items perceived by the subject; and displaying the items on the representation space according to the display matrix such that the items are plotted on respective positions in the representation.

Abstract: A printed matter comprising: a multiplicity of character strings such as words or sentences being printed on a single printing plane according to a ranking of the character strings determined based on a predetermined rule; the character strings being printed at respective font sizes which vary gradually in order of the ranking of the character strings; and at least two of the character strings being superposed on each other in which one of the two character strings whose font size is smaller than that of the other character string is provided with a fringe at a superposed portion thereof. A method and an apparatus for printing the printed matter are also disclosed.
