    Abstract: A pivotal handle assembly is attached to a folding ramp to move the ramp from a raised transport position inside a vehicle to a lower, use position extending between the vehicle and the ground. The handle assembly extends upwardly in both the transport and the use positions, and allows an operator to fold and unfold the ramp assembly without bending down so as to minimize back strain.
