Abstract: Mounting a device to a horizontal surface of a transport vehicle is achieved by connecting a latch post assembly to the horizontal surface and a receiver assembly to the device. The latch post assembly and the receiver assembly may then be mated together creating multiple zones of frictional contact and positive retention force preventing inadvertent decoupling of the latch post assembly and the receiver assembly.

Abstract: A supporting bracket for hanging decor such as decorative flags, banners, windsocks and planters, which is designed for attachment to a flat surface. The bracket includes a base portion and several elongated receptors for receiving a cylindrical pole to which the decor is attached. The bracket design is such that it is capable of accommodating different sized poles and displaying the decor at different angles. The bracket also includes screw holes for mounting to a planar surface and a set screw for securing the support shaft within the bracket.
Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, method and apparatus for identifying winning and losing tokens used in a promotion which includes a machine in which one of such tokens is placed. An eddy current sensor in the machine determines the composition of the alloy of which the token is made and identifies it as a "winner" or a "loser." If the token is a winner, the machine may hold the token for manual release and verification. In one aspect of the invention, a coupon is or other object is dispensed when the token is a winner.
