  • Patent number: 9386719
Abstract: A fixing structure applicable to multiple sizes of storage device includes an enclosure, which has an interior forming an accommodation space that receives a storage device of one of the multiple sizes to be inserted into the enclosure. The enclosure includes, in an upper portion of the interior thereof, at least one spring-biasing section, which applies a spring force to an upper surface of the storage device opposite thereto for positioning in a longitudinal direction. The enclosure includes therein positioning sections and retention sections respectively set on opposite lateral sides thereof for cooperating with lateral sides of the storage device for positioning in a lateral direction. A lid has an inside surface on which a supporting section is formed so that when the lid is mounted to and closing a front side of the enclosure, the supporting section is in engagement with the storage device to secure the storage device.

  • Patent number: 9310854
Abstract: The present invention relates to a structure of a screw-free adaptation rack, which includes a main casing including a carrying section to define an upper portion of the main casing as a primary accommodation space and a lower portion as a secondary accommodation space. A partition plate is arranged in the primary accommodation space for division into a first receiving space and a second receiving space. A retention mechanism retains at least one 2.5-inch hard drive in the primary accommodation space. The secondary accommodation space has two sidewalls with a pair of bumps and a pair of through apertures formed therein so that with position adjustment of a retained object, the bumps are fit into and thus retain the retained object, allowing the present invention to readily receive and retain a hard drive and a 3.5-inch floppy disk drive in a screw-free manner for extensive applications to various specifications.

  • Patent number: 8072848
Abstract: An adaptation device includes a lower casing member including a connection interface and forming a bottom slot in a front bottom, at least one retention flange on side walls, and pivot receiving holes in rear portions of the side walls. A retention board forms a connection interface receiving opening in a front end, rotation shafts on a rear end, and pawls on a bottom. The shafts are movably received in shaft slots defined in a rotary board. Pivots are formed below the shaft slots for being received in pivot receiving holes defined in the lower casing member. The rotary board has a hold-down plate. With a hard disk drive placed on the retention board and connected to a connection interface, the cover and the rotary board are closed forward to have the hold-down plate holding down the hard disk drive. The cover is then moved backward for fixation.
