Abstract: Provided is a versatile workflow system for managing a document routing workflow and work from work placement to completion. Information of an action executable in a certain status is received from an administrator terminal, combination information of the status and the action executable is stored in an action storage section, information of the action and action elements configuring the action is received from the administrator terminal, and combination information of the action and the action elements is stored in an action-element storage section. All actions extracted from the action storage section with the status as a key are displayed on a user terminal as the actions executable by the user. Information of a selected action selected from the displayed actions is received from the user terminal, the action-element storage section is referred to, and all the action elements configuring the selected action are extracted and executed.
