Abstract: A system, including a firearm comprising a receiver and an illumination sight. A illumination sight for a firearm that includes a housing member that is configured to be placed over a receiver of a firearm that couplable to a top portion of the receiver, the housing member including a lower extension that extends down the side of the receiver toward a trigger of the firearm when installed, a light source disposed within the housing member, and a power source disposed within the housing member that is configured to power the light source. A firearm that includes a laser sight illumination sight.
Abstract: A target that, depending upon a type of game for which the target is programmed, senses whether and where it has been struck by a laser light. The target face displays a game board (such as a dart board) and allows laser light to pass through. A plurality of light sensors are behind the target face. When a designated portion of the target face is struck by a laser light, a sensor records the strike. One or more of: the game to be played using the target, the number of players, starting the game, resetting the target for a new game, and changing players, is accomplished remotely by striking an area on the target with laser light.
Abstract: A slide for an automatic pistol includes a cavity, a housing in the cavity, a laser module at least partially received in the housing, a power source, circuitry, and a striker. The slide has a first mode in which it emits laser light and a second mode in which it does not emit laser light. The striker has a first position in which it does not cause the laser module to emit laser light. When the pistol's trigger is pulled, the pistol's firing pin contacts the striker and moves the striker backwards from the first position to a biased position. When the firing pin moves out of contact with the striker, the striker moves forward to a second position and causes the circuitry to transmit power from the power source to the laser module, which causes the laser module to emit laser light.
Abstract: A device incorporates a light source, a power source, and a control unit. The device has two operating modes and a switch to select one of the two modes. In a first operating mode the light source has a first control function wherein it emits light and a second control function wherein it does not emit light. In a second mode the light source emits light when the sound of a gun firing pin is detected.
Abstract: A lighting device for a gun includes a mirror to redirect a light beam emanating from the lighting device. The light beam can be redirected along the side or top of the gun and preferably parallel to the axis of the gun barrel. The lighting device preferably is or includes a laser module.
