Abstract: The handle device for a cooking utensil comprises a grip (16) formed by a plate (11) sandwiched between two strips (12, 13), with a portion (14) of the plate (11) at its front end being terminated by a nose (15) and with a locking/unlocking device (20) being slidably mounted on the plate (11) and urged towards the nose (15) by resilient means (21). The locking/unlocking device (20) comprises a control pushbutton (22) placed at the front end of the grip (16) above the plate portion (14) and a latch (23) connected to the pushbutton (22) by a slider (24) placed in the front portion of the grip (16). This disposition of the pushbutton (22) at the front end of the grip (16) avoids accidental unlocking while the cooking utensil is in use.
Abstract: The invention concerns a non-stick coating (4) for cooking utensils (1) characterized in that it is selected among the group comprising (a) ceramics alone selected among titanium oxynitride, titanium suboxides, titanium subnitrides, spinels, mixed spinels; and (b) ceramo-metallic mixtures wherein the ceramics are selected among titanium oxynitrides, titanium suboxides, titanium subnitrides, spinels, cerium fluoride, silicon carbide, pyrolitic carbon, boron carbide, and the metal is titanium.

Abstract: The removable device for taking hold of, lifting, handling, and pouring from cooking utensils having two diametrically opposite outwardly-directed handles in the form of lugs (2), each of which has an opening (5) that is substantially parallel to the inner edge (6) of said lug (2), is characterized by the fact that it comprises a pair of removable shells (10) suitable for fitting over said lugs (2) and made of a thermally insulating material, each shell (10) presenting an internal cavity (11), which opens out laterally through an oblong orifice (13), which is suitable for receiving a lug (2) inserted through said orifice (13), and which is fitted with an internal locking/unlocking device (20) suitable for co-operating with the opening (5) in the lug (2) when received in said cavity (11).
Abstract: A housing with frangible locking elements includes at least one body portion having a cavity for containing an electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic fittig therein. The housing is provided with at least one tongue-like element engageable, in locking fashion, with at least one seating area provided by another housing, a plate or a supporting structure. Once the hook-like end of the tongue is engaged on the seating area, the housing may only be removed from service by destruction of the frangible tongue-like element, indicating visually that unauthorized tampering has taken place. One embodiment of the invention includes housings having living hinges, lockable to form the fitting containing cavity, by utilizing another hook-like shaped tongue element, engageable on a seating area on an opposed marginal edge of the housing. Another embodiment includes the ability to dispose the housing, in selected spaced-apart distance relationship from a mating housing, plate or supporting structure.
Abstract: A cable supporting and spacing device utilizes a block of insulating material to space apart two cables, when the device and portions of the cables are partially encased within a closed loop formed by a flexible strap. The device is provided with at least a pair of projections extending outwardly from the surface thereof for "snap-in" like engagement of the strap to the block, thereby facilitating convenient installation of the device when installed between the two separated cable portions.
