Abstract: A computer-readable medium encoded with executable instructions for a text messaging service for dynamically associating a first user to a first business via a shared common short code is provided. The instructions are for receiving a first text message from a first user via a first shared common short code, determining a user history associated with the first user based on an identification of the first user, and determining an association of the first shared common short code with a first business based on the user history associated with the first user. The instructions are further for storing the association of the first shared common short code with the first business for the first user in the user history associated with the first user and routing the first text message to the first business.
