Abstract: A binding material winding device for winding binding material from an object tied with said binding material comprises a guiding member and a winding member. The binding material is e.g. a strap, wire or string. The guiding member is arranged to be introduced with the binding material and configured to guide said binding material towards said winding member. The winding member is configured to be introduced with said binding material during actuation of said winding member and thereby wind and remove said binding material via said actuation.

Abstract: A bale opening device for opening bales wrapped and/or tied with wrapping material comprises a supporting structure for supporting the bale to be opened, and a gripping mechanism to grip the wrapping material, and again to pull it away from the bale. In addition, the device comprises a remover taking and gripping the wrapping material from the gripping mechanism. The remover is then actuated so as to remove the wrapping material from the bale and the gripping mechanism. The remover and the gripper are mutually arranged so to enable the gripping mechanism returning back towards the supporting structure essentially at the same when the remover is actuated to remove the wrapping material.

Abstract: An apparatus for producing wrapped bales comprises first and second wrapping material dispenser means for dispensing wrapping material on the bales. It also comprises a wrapping means for circulating the first and second wrapping material dispenser means in a first plane of rotation around said bale for wrapping said web of wrapping material around said bale. The apparatus is further configured to emerge the first wrapping material from the first wrapping material dispenser means and the second wrapping material from the second wrapping material dispenser means around the bale at least in two different areas so that the properties of the final wrapping of at least one of said first and/or second wrapping material provided onto the bale differs substantially at least in the second area from the properties of the final wrapping of at least one of said first and/or second wrapping material in said first area in order to make the bale wrapping stronger in said second area.

Abstract: A bale opening device (100) for opening bales wrapped and/or tied with wrapping material comprises a supporting structure (102, 102A) for supporting the bale to be opened, and a gripping mechanism (103) to grip the wrapping material, and again to pull it away from the bale. Between the first and the second stages, the surface of the wrapping material web may be turned about 90° such that the surface of the web is always substantially normal to the planes of rotation in both stages. The first wrapping stage includes using a tunnel device, which makes it possible to produce both unbound wrapped bales and bound wrapped bales.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are for wrapping a bale (30) in a web, such as plastic film material. In a first wrapping stage the bale is moved along a bed while the web material is wrapped around it by a dispenser moving about the path of the bale. The dispenser rotates about a first (horizontal) axis while the bale moves parallel to the first axis. In a second wrapping stage the web dispenser is rotated 90 degrees and held stationary while the bale is rotated about a second, vertical axis.
