Abstract: In order to implement a method of graduating the dissipation of an alternating electrical power signal, provision is made to place the position (Reg3) of a period of the alternating signal in correspondence with the binary inverse (Reg4) of a digitized set-point parameter. It is shown that, in this way, the periods of dissipation are ideally distributed among the periods of non-dissipation. This has the principal effect of reducing the effects of blinking which are particularly undesirable when the rise time of the phenomenon to be controlled is short as regards the period of the alternating electrical signal.
Abstract: A mechanism for manually controlling an electric switching member includes a control button, a guide for guiding the movement of a moving element of the switching member, and a link which moves longitudinally in the direction of travel of the control button and laterally into an abutting position which prevents longitudinal movement of the link. The mechanism further includes an element secured to the control button and configured to contact the link to cause the longitudinal movement of the link, a first spring configured to push the control button into a pulled-out position, a second return spring configured to push the link out of the abutting position, and a cylindrical bushing in which the control button slides.

Abstract: A device for the actuation of at least one main switch, includes a lever having two main faces. In a working position of the lever, its main face is designed to actuate the main switch. In an idle position of the lever, its second main face is designed to actuate at least one ancillary switch capable of delivering an item of information on the idle position.
Abstract: A rotating machine comprises a stator that is excited to vibrate to generate progressive surface waves at a frequency within a resonance frequency range of a predetermined rank. The rotor is designed so that the vibrations in the stator generate vibrations of the same frequency and of lower magnitude. A vibration sensor is mounted on the rotor to provide a signal. The difference in frequency between the excitation frequency of the stator and the vibration frequency detected on the rotor corresponds to the rotation speed of the rotor.
Abstract: An electromagnetic micro-actuator includes a coil for generating a magnetic field which acts on a movable element at least partially made of a magnetic material, and a magnetic circuit to drive the magnetic flux towards a gap closable by the motion of the movable element.
Abstract: A motor includes two parts that are mobile one with respect to the other and have facing surfaces contacting each other. Progressive surface acoustic waves of the same direction are produced in each facing surface of each part. The relative speed or position of the parts is adjusted by acting on the relative frequency or phase of the progressive waves.
Abstract: A system controls a one-pole synchronous motor, with a magnetized rotor and a stator provided with two pairs of coils. The motor includes a floating common node to which are connected first coil terminals, the second terminal of each first coil of a coil pair is connected to a first supply terminal through a first respective switch, and the second terminal of each second coil of a coil pair is connected to a second supply terminal through a second respective switch. The control system includes a circuit operable for controlling switches in a stepping or self-switching mode, and at least one detection circuit using the voltage occurring at the floating common node so as to detect at least one operation condition of the motor.
Abstract: A protection nut for screwing on a stud in which a button slides, includes an approximately bell-shaped elastic membrane mounted to one face of the nut and fitted around or covering the button and an annular seal-ring mounted to the opposite face of the nut, the membrane and the seal-ring forming only one part and being connected together through at least one through-hole of the nut.
Abstract: A power switch comprising: at least one bipolar transistor (T1), the base of which is controlled through an amplifier 12 by a control signal (VC) and a sensor (10) of the current (I) flowing through the switch; at least one insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) (T2) connected in parallel to said at least one bipolar transistor (T1), the gate of which is controlled by said control signal (VC); and means (S) for inhibiting the base control of said at least one bipolar transistor (T1) when the current flowing through the switch is lower than a predetermined value (I.sub.0).
