  • Publication number: 20160230938
Abstract: An omnidirectional LED light bulb includes a lighting cover, a main body, and a base. The lighting cover includes upper and lower covers, which are coupled together through first and second coupling sections formed on the upper and lower covers to form a bottom-open cover. The upper cover has an interior surface including a plurality of concentric engraved circular patterns circling around a center of the upper cover. The first and second coupling sections are coupled together in a completely sealed manner. The main body includes a casing receiving therein a power module and coupled to the lower cover with a sealing ring interposed therebetween. The casing has a top on which a lighting plate including light-emitting elements is mounted and electrically connected to the power module. The base is coupled to the main body.

  • Patent number: 8858042
Abstract: A detachment-resistant shell of light bulb includes a base and a cover. The base has a lower end forming a first coupling section where has a thread is circumferentially formed. The cover has an upper end forming an opening that forms a second coupling section where has a counterpart thread is circumferentially formed to correspond to and be engageable with the thread. The second coupling section has forms at least one resiliently deflectable member which is provided with a counterpart tooth that corresponds to and is engageable with the teeth of the base. The counterpart tooth includes a counterpart straight side corresponding to the straight side of the teeth and is selectively engageable with the straight side of one of the teeth to constrain reverse rotation.

  • Patent number: 8172425
Abstract: A low-profile light-emitting diode (LED) lamp includes a base, a cover, a heat dissipation plate, an LED module, a circuit board, and a light guide hood. The base and the cover respectively form a base opening and a cover opening. The base and the cover include a recess-projection mating structure therebetween to form an outer water sealing wall and an inner water sealing wall that surround the base opening and the cover opening. The light guide hood, the circuit board, and the LED module are arranged inside the inner water sealing wall. The base and the cover are fixed together through recess-projection mating formed between posts and holes to also realize water resistance. The heat generated by the LED module is dissipated by the heat dissipation plate, which is set on an outer surface of the base and is provided with a plurality of convection chambers that induce heat convection.
