Patent number: 9521906Abstract: The present invention provides a kit and a method for assembling a mounting (1) for mounting furniture to a wall. The kit comprises a mounting part (1) having a first component (2) having a first adhesive receiving portion with double sided adhesive foam applied thereto and a second component (3) having a second receiving portion (12). The first adhesive is chosen to develop a bond very quickly to the wall. The second adhesive forms a bond more slowly but is much stronger and provides the main force for supporting the item of furniture. The first component (2) and the second component (3) are releasably mountable with respect to one another. In another aspect, the second component (3) is provided with cruciform slots (10) which can alternatively be used to fix the component to a wall using screws.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2011Date of Patent: December 20, 2016Assignee: Croydex LimitedInventors: Jonathan Harry Tooley, Peter James Harold Pegden, Paul Edward Wills

Patent number: 8333354Abstract: A structure for removable attachment to a substantially vertical surface for example of glass, glazed tiles or metal. The structure includes a suction disk for sealingly contacting a surface, a pulling member attached to the suction disk for drawing a part of the suction disk away from the surface, so that a partial vacuum is created between the suction disk and the surface. Rotation of the rotatable member draws the pulling member and respective part of the suction disk away from the surface. An intermediate member is provided which engages the suction disk and supports the rotatable member. A structural member is mounted in or on the intermediate member. The outer diameter of the rotatable member is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the adjacent part of the intermediate member, so that a user's fingers will grip the rotatable member without catching on parts of the intermediate member.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2012Date of Patent: December 18, 2012Assignee: Croydex LimitedInventors: Jonathan Harry Tooley, Charles Frederick Burrows

Patent number: 8132766Abstract: In order to provide a structure for removable attachment to a substantially vertical surface for example of glass, glazed tiles or metal, the structure has a mounting means comprising: suction means (1) for sealingly contacting a surface, pulling means (2) being attached to the suction means (1) for drawing a part of the suction means (1) away from the surface, so that a partial vacuum is created between the suction means (1) and the surface. There is a substantially helical or wedge shaped surface on the pulling means (2) engaged with a corresponding substantially helical or wedge shaped surface of a rotatable member (13), whereby rotation of the rotatable member (13) draws the pulling means (2) and respective part of the suction means (1) away from the surface. An intermediate member (5) is provided for engaging a sealing part of the suction means (1), the intermediate member (5) supporting the rotatable member (13).Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 2006Date of Patent: March 13, 2012Assignee: Croydex LimitedInventors: Jonathan Harry Tooley, Charles Frederick Burrows

Publication number: 20070250995Abstract: A toilet assembly 1 comprises a bowl 2, a seat assembly 3 and a cistern 4 having a flush mechanism and an actuator 10 for actuating said flush mechanism. The seat assembly 3 is hingedly mounted to the bowl 2 for pivotal movement between a lowered position in which the seat assembly 3 extends across the bowl 2 and a raised position in which the seat assembly 3 is upstanding from the bowl 2, and the actuator 10 is located so as to be concealed behind the seat assembly 3 when it is in its raised position such that flushing of the toilet 2 is prevented with said seat assembly 3 raised. Furthermore, the seat assembly 3 comprises a seat member 5 and a lid member 6, the seat member 5 being engageable with a rim 7 of the toilet bowl 2 to provide a seat upon which a user can sit, and the lid member 6 being engageable with the seat member 5 so as to overlie it.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 9, 2007Publication date: November 1, 2007Applicant: Croydex LimitedInventor: Grahame White
