    Abstract: One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a bag for storing platelets or contaminated blood previously withdrawn from a subject. The bag can comprise a flexible, closed container and at least one removable heat transfer member adhered to an outer surface portion of the container. The container can include an inlet therein that forms part of the container. The inlet can be adapted for fluid-tight connection to a tube member through which the platelets or contaminated blood are caused to flow.
