  • Patent number: 10998671
Abstract: A system and method for stabilizing a DIMM in a DIMM connector so as to reduce wear related electrical disconnections therebetween. A base is disposed between adjacent DIMM connectors and is coupled to the motherboard. A cap engages a top edge of a plurality of DIMMs and an adjustable force is applied to the top of the DIMMS by turning a screw which extends from the cap into the base.

  • Patent number: 10782755
Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus and method for provisioning a compact power filter connection to a well-grounded connector in such a way as to include a capacitive and inductive circuit connection, extremely near the connector and filter, such that EMC compatibility is created in a space roughly 30% of traditional mechanisms and design approach to satisfy the aforementioned needs, provide the previously stated objects, include the above-listed features, and achieve the already articulated advantages. The present invention is carried out in a “post-internal ferrite bead re-radiation noise-less” manner, in a sense that ability to have noise introduced back onto a post-ferrite bead line has been greatly reduced.

  • Patent number: 10193248
Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus and method for allowing for the use of commercial dual inline memory module (DIMM) in high shock and vibration environments while preserving serviceability. This system extends the performance of the standard Joint Electron Device Engineering (JEDEC) memory connectors in said environments without sacrificing high speed electrical performance. The system provides a simple clip which locks the module in place using the standard connector latches preventing relative motion of the connector and the DIMM thereby insuring uninterrupted computational performance. The clip may be formed with resilient ends that snap onto pivotal latching devices to prevent inadvertent opening of these latching devices. The clips may also include bumper spacers (205) on their opposite faces to engage bumper spacers of adjacent clips to maintain the modules in proper orientation.

  • Patent number: 8529285
Abstract: A system and method for retaining a commercial off the shelf connector and cable into a connector on a pc is shown and described as having a wire bail or retaining clip, which is either screwed to or forced into a friction fit behind a rear panel of the PC at the COTS connectors. The bail or retention clip extends beyond the end of the connector and cradles the cord, this helps to distribute the weight of the cord/cable. Also, the clip is sized and configured to make inadvertent disconnection of the connector less likely.
