Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) transmit/receive switch. The transmit/receive switch comprises an impedance matching circuit and a voltage scaling circuit. The impedance matching circuit matches an incoming RF signal to a low noise amplifier and an outgoing RF signal from a power amplifier. The voltage scaling circuit, coupled to the impedance matching circuit, the power amplifier, and the low noise amplifier, attenuates the outgoing RF signal to a scaled signal within a breakdown voltage of a transistor device in the low noise amplifier during transmission of the outgoing RF signal.
Abstract: A frame synchronization method is disclosed. The method comprises correlating a stream with a pattern to generate a correlated result c(t). A first peak and a second peak are selected from the correlated result c(t), wherein the first peak is the peak with highest amplitude, and the second peak is the peak occurring later than the first peak with the second highest amplitude. The peak ratio of the two peaks is computed, and the position of the frame boundary is determined according to the ratio.
Abstract: A transceiving system utilizing a shared filter module is provided. The shared filter module is selectively filtering signals in a first band in a first mode and a second band in a second mode. The first mode is a receiver mode whereas the second mode is a transmission mode. The shared filter module comprises a compound filter comprising two low pass filters and a coupling controller to manage input and output wiring of the low pass filters. When the coupling controller is enabled in the first mode, the compound filter acts as a bandpass filter. When the coupling controller is disabled, the compound filter acts as two independent low pass filters.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating universal splice point adapters, where during a splicing operation an “out-point splicing adapter” is used to transition from an exit stream, while an “in-point splicing adapter” is used to transition to an entry stream.
