Abstract: A creping doctor device for the scraping off and creping of a running paper web from a rotating cylinder, comprising a holder device arranged to be able to support a continuous, or divided, longitudinally moveable doctor blade, which doctor blade is arranged to have a length that exceeds at least twice the length of said cylinder and is provided with a scraping surface and a contact line and/or contact surface, which contact line and/or contact surface is intended to bear against the jacket surface of said rotating cylinder at a certain linear load, said doctor blade comprising a supporting part and a wear part that is moveable in relation to the supporting part.
