Abstract: A device for controlling an operation of a system performing a task determines a current control input based on the feedback signal by solving a polynomial optimization of a polynomial function with a reformulation derived by introducing additional variables reducing the degree of the polynomial function till a target degree subject to constraints on a structure of the additional variables. The device solves a mixed-integer optimization problem to find a subset of encodings among all possible encodings of factorizations of the polynomial function that reduce the degree of the polynomial function to the target degree with a predetermined minimum number of additional variables and selects an optimal encoding from the subset of encodings with an optimal relaxation bound.

Abstract: A system and method for providing accurate trim and list angles of a ship through an array of sensors incorporating real-time kinematics and inertial measurement units. The software application would create a D model of the localized sensor data for detailed ship characteristics. Artificial intelligence will process all the sensor data through a large database of route data, weather conditions, and past performances to determine the optimum ballast levels to set the trim/list angles for maximum fuel efficiency. Each trip will provide detailed course information for continual improvement.

Abstract: A method of profiling an endpoint includes generating a structured request including a set of inquiries, each of which being directed to an endpoint parameter and including a parameter name. The method includes generating a scan message including the set of inquiries and an additional inquiry directed to an additional endpoint parameter. The method includes receiving a single response from the endpoint including raw parameter data responsive to the set of inquiries and the additional inquiry. The method includes storing the raw parameter data in a data lake organized according to extracted metadata. The method includes labeling each data portion using the parameter name and the extracted metadata. The method may include accessing, from the data lake, portions of the raw parameter data responsive to the set of inquiries based on labels associated therewith. The method includes generating a profile report derived from the accessed data.

The subject technology splits a set of rows into a set of shards of rows. The subject technology, for each shard from the set of shards, sends a particular user defined table function (UDTF), including a particular shard of rows, to a different execution node to perform a set of operations for determining a rolling correlation over a window size. The subject technology provides a set of output values of each particular UDTF corresponding to each shard from the set of shards in a second UDTF. The subject technology sends the second UDTF to a particular execution node to perform an aggregate operation. The subject technology receives a value of the rolling correlation from the particular execution node based on the aggregate operation.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to system and method for consolidating data attributes for optimizing data processing. The method comprises defining objectives associated with data along with data outcome expected after processing of data from a sample dataset through processor. The data outcome is predicted based on metadata associated with the data from the sample dataset. The method further comprises identifying metadata insights for classifying metadata into a plurality of metadata types through metadata crawler, generating an experienced based metadata by filtering metadata with incomplete information from the metadata according to the objectives and data output expected through the processor. The experience-based metadata comprises one or more metadata types from the plurality of metadata types and generating consolidated sample data by using the experienced based metadata through the processor.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a film bulk acoustic resonance device is disclosed. The proposed method, wherein the device has a specific resonant frequency, includes: providing a substrate having a recess, wherein the recess has a height; configuring a first piezoelectric material layer on the substrate, and causing the recess to form an air gap; configuring a lower electrode on the first piezoelectric material layer; when the height is in a first range, causing a resonant frequency of the film bulk acoustic resonance device versus the height to have a first slope; when the height is in a second range, causing the resonant frequency versus the height to have a second slope; and causing the first slope to be smaller than the second slope.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for region-of-interest enhanced PET image reconstruction based on multi-task learning, which comprises the following steps: firstly, acquiring a backprojection image of the PET original data, and designing a main task of establishing a mapping between the backprojection image and a reconstructed PET image by using a three-dimensional deep convolution neural network. A new auxiliary task 1 is designed to predict a computerized tomography (CT) image with the same anatomical structures as the PET image reconstructed from the backprojection image, so as to reduce the noise in the reconstructed PET image by using the local smoothing information of the high-resolution CT image.
