Abstract: A spectrometer including: a laser light source, including a tunable diode laser with a coherent laser output, wherein the laser light source is configured to modulate the frequency of the coherent laser output; a photodetector arranged to receive the coherent laser output; at least one optical element arranged between the laser output and the photodetector; and an evaluation unit electrically connected to the photodetector. The laser light source and/or the first optical element is mounted on a movable carrier, wherein the movement of the carrier is oscillatory and changes the path length of the radiation such that interference signals are suppressed, wherein the suppression occurs due to interference between the radiation emitted from the light source and the change in the path length of the beam path due to the movement on the movable carrier.

Abstract: A data analysis method determines the deviation of measurement data from a regression line and detects abnormalities. A computer system acquires reaction process data that includes device information, reagent information, and measurement data from automatic analysis systems as reference data. The computer system acquires label data that includes, for each piece of reaction process data, an abnormality determination and an abnormality source that have been inputted by an operator. On the basis of an analysis of the reference data and the included label data relative to a distribution map for evaluation parameters for the reaction process data, the computer system calculates overall regression line information that can be commonly applied to the automatic analysis systems and overall deviation determination reference line information for determining deviation from the overall regression line information.
Abstract: Integrated DFOS systems and methods for 3D gunshot, localization, and tracking utilizing Artificial Intelligence enhanced (AI-enhanced) systems and methods for infrastructure security including electrical substations. Our systems and methods provide a comprehensive solution for substation security enhancement, integrating 3D gunshot localization, real-time tracking, and AI-driven analysis. Utilizing Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology, our systems and methods precisely detect and triangulate the origin of gunshots in three-dimensional space. The trajectory of a bullet is determined, providing insights into the direction and potential target within the substation. Al algorithms discern between various acoustic events and provide identification of genuine threats. Upon detecting a potential gunshot, our system automatically correlates related acoustic events, such as the noise of a nearby vehicle, offering context and aiding in threat assessment.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for sorting retired blocks of non-volatile memory cells are described. A memory system may recover a block that has been marked as “bad” using a requalification process. For example, after operating in an error protection mode for the block, the memory system may monitor the block to determine whether a status flag indicating an access error is set. If the status flag is set, the memory system may store information that indicates the block is unrecoverable, and the block may subsequently be retired. Alternatively, if a status flag is not set, the memory system may store information that indicates the block may be recoverable. If one or more additional access operations to the block are successful, the memory system may store information that indicates the block may be used for subsequent access operations.

Abstract: A method for overcoming intermittent, temporary, or other fetching failures by using multiple attempts for retrieving a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed. The URL fetching may use direct or non-direct fetching schemes, or a combination thereof. The non-direct fetching method may use intermediate devices, such as proxy server, Data-Center proxy server, tunnel devices, or any combination thereof. Upon sensing a failure of a fetching action, the action is repeated using the same or different parameters or attributes, such as by using different intermediate devices, selected based on different parameters or attributes, such as different countries. The repetitions are limited to a pre-defined maximum number or attempts. The fetching attempts may be performed by the client device, by an intermediate device in a non-direct fetching scheme, or a combination thereof. Various fetching schemes may be used sequentially until the content is retrieved.
