Abstract: In a soft top vehicle roof which is movable between a closed position and an open storage position and comprises a vehicle roof cover material which is supported by a roof linkage, at least one linkage element of the roof linkage is provided with a reception space in which a seal element and a material web connected to an end portion of the roof cover material are firmly engaged and form-fittingly locked by clamping hooks extending from the inner walls of the reception space through openings in the material web and into recesses in the seal element.

Abstract: In a foldable vehicle roof for a convertible vehicle with an operating mechanism including spaced control arms pivotally supported on the vehicle body for moving the vehicle roof between a closed position, in which an interior vehicle space is covered, and an open position, and the vehicle roof includes a rear roof part and a roof part disposed in front of, and adjacent, the rear roof part, the rear roof part is biased in the closed position of the vehicle roof against the vehicle body by way of clamping means engaging one of the control arms with the rear roof part.

Abstract: In a hardtop vehicle roof including two rigid roof parts which are movable between a closed position in which they cover an interior vehicle space and an open position in which the roof parts are deposited in a storage compartment, an operating mechanism is provided which comprises a main pivot arm, which is pivotally supported on the vehicle body and a common carrier, which is supported on the main pivot arm by an operating structure which permits the common carrier to move relative to the main pivot arm and the rigid roof parts are supported on the common carrier such that they are movable together with the common carrier relative to the main pivot arm.

Abstract: An adjustable vehicle roof has an adjustable folding top between a closed position and a folded position with a convertible top rod assembly and a top cover material. At least one rod component of the convertible top rod assembly is lowerable into a stowing compartment in the folded position via an adjustment kinematic. In a space conserving embodiment, this rod component is moved along the path of a pitch circle during transport into the stowing compartment.

Abstract: A vehicle roof has a convertible top which can be adjusted between a closed position and an open position. The top spans the vehicle interior in the closed position and is deposited in a convertible top depositing device in the open position. Furthermore, a rollover bar is coupled with the convertible top depositing device. For a facilitated assembly and function testing, the rollover bar forms a cohesive, firmly connected unit with the convertible top depositing device and the convertible top. The unit can be integrated in the vehicle as a preassembled module.

Abstract: In a wind deflector operating mechanism for a convertible with an adjustable top, wherein the wind deflector is supported by vertical guide rails so as to be movable between lowered and raised positions and the vehicle top is movable between a closed position and a storage position, a drive mechanism for opening and closing the vehicle top is adapted to engage an operating linkage for raising and lowering the wind deflector in such a way that movement of the wind deflector occurs only during certain movement phases of the drive mechanism.
