The housing comprises an alignment protrusion extending axially from a housing inner surface towards the filter element so as to mate with the alignment channel. The alignment feature comprises a ring member positioned circumferentially around the filter media at a filter media first end proximate to the housing, and a filter baffle extending from the ring member. The filter baffle is circumferentially positioned on at least a portion of the outer surface of the filter media and defines the alignment channel.
