Abstract: A printer-support stand which comprises a pair of first and second support legs adapted to be placed in a spaced-apart relationship to provide a printer-support stand. Each leg is comprised of an integrally molded plastic material, and comprises upward front and back sections, a base element extending between the front and back leg sections and characterized by an elongated, internal open space, and an elongated support-bar element having a generally flat top surface extending between the front and back sections, to provide an upper support surface for the printer. Each of the legs is characterized by an open internal space which mimics the shape of the leg, so that the first and second support legs may be stacked nestably within each other for convenience in shipping and displaying, with the support-stand element within the internal open space of the base in the nestable, stacked condition.

Abstract: A magnifier apparatus for use with a hand-held video display apparatus which magnifier apparatus has a frame with a magnifier lens, the frame secured to a support, the support releasably adapted to be secured in a snap-in relationship to the sides of the housing of the video display apparatus in an upright, correct position, the frame with the magnifier lens adapted to move between an open, use position over the screen of the video display apparatus and a closed, non-use position nested within the support.

Abstract: An adjustable computer system stand adapted to support in a generally vertical direction for positioning a computer system, which stand comprises identical first and second molded plastic sections, each section having a base and generally vertically extending supports at the one and other end of the base, having generally horizontally inwardly extending legs, with the legs having a clip at the end thereof, a clip designed to engage in a snap-in relationship with the corrugation of the opposing leg to permit a user to provide for an adjustable-width computer stand formed into the first and second sections.

Abstract: An adjustable monitor support apparatus to support a monitor in a viewing position, which apparatus includes a generally vertical base with a shaft, shaft bushing and outer sleeve; a monitor arm secured at the one end to the shaft housing for rotation about the shaft, and having a generally horizontal monitor support platform at the other end of the monitor arm. The monitor support platform is rotatable between locked and release positions at the other end of the monitor arm and optionally also may be tilted to a selected angular position. The monitor support apparatus is secured to a surface, such as a table top, by a threaded clamp assembly on a mounting bracket. The monitor support apparatus includes a plurality of removable, generally uniform spacer elements within the sleeve and adjacent the shaft.

Abstract: A multiple-media storage container and system for the organization and storage of cassettes, video cartridges and other informational media. The storage container includes an upper and a lower section adapted to be hinged together and have the upper section move between an open and a closed position. The sections are nestable within each other and secured together in pairs, prior to use by break-away tab elements. The nested, secured sections are arranged for shipping and displaying in a plurality of vertically stacked, nested pairs.

Abstract: A portable, compact, battery-operated light apparatus for use with a compact computer game having a LCD video screen for enhancing the visibility of the LCD screen in use, which light apparatus comprises a body witha battery compartment and having side panels which define an open viewing space and lights provided in the body element to provide for indirect lighting of the viewing space, the light apparatus comprising a portable, compact, battery-powered light apparatus and which includes ridges on the light apparatus which snap in a releasable manner onto the grooves in a compact computer game video system to releasably secure the light apparatus in position over the LCD video screen of the compact game system.

Abstract: A cleaning cartridge device for cleaning the electrical contacts within a computer video game receptacle. The device includes a housing for insertion into the cartridge receptacle, a board 56 with cleaning material at the one end within the housing, the board having a handle end 76 extending from one end of the housing, and the board slidably movable by the use of the handle end 76 between defined stop positions of a cleaning position for the electrical contacts with the cleaning material in contact with the electrical contacts and a non-cleaning position spaced apart from the electrical contacts.

Abstract: A system and method for the filtration of a solvent-particulate waste stream, such as a water solvent-particulate waste stream derived from the washing of a printing press blanket. The system and method include pumping and circulating under pressure the waste stream from a processing container through a filter to provide for a clarified solvent stream for reuse and a concentrated waste stream which is recycled back to the processing container. The system and method also include maintaining the recirculation flow rate at least than about 0.05 gallons per minute per square foot of filter surface (GFD) and removing a clarified solvent stream at a rate of less than about 2-3 gallons of flux per square foot of filter surface per day, while maintaining the pressure in the filter at a pressure of greater than about 25 psi and recycling the clarified solvent stream back for reuse in the system.
