Abstract: A hinge assembly including first and second hinge portions that are pivotable relative to one another. A pivot pin has opposite ends and is rotatably mounted in one hinge portion. The pivot pin and the other hinge portion are configured to allow the ends of the pivot pin to be threadably fastened to the other hinge body.
Abstract: An escutcheon for use with a clamping assembly to mounting a device to a surface. The escutcheon is placed over an exposed fastener for connecting the two clamping members once connected on opposite sides of the surface. The cover member is an escutcheon for covering direct sight of the fastening member from that side.
Abstract: A hinge assembly includes first and second portions that translate relative to one another. A bumper member is partially embedded in and partially extends out of one of the portions to prevent abutment of surfaces of the portions at that location.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for clamping a panel, such as a glass panel, with no notch or drilled hole. The apparatus includes a base and two opposite opposing clamp halves. The lower edges of the clamp halves have downwardly extending cam surfaces. Inwardly extending arms are formed near the bottom of the clamp halves. A retainer is positionable above the arms and base. A machine screw is turned to pull the retainer to pull the arms towards the base and force the cam surfaces against the base. This causes convergence of the clamp halves by the geometry of the cams.
Abstract: An apparatus useful to suspend or extend a structure from a surface. In one aspect, the apparatus simulates a mounting post with a ferrule which suspends or extends a separate structure from the surface. In another aspect, the apparatus includes a simulated end of the structure integrated with the mounting post to give the appearance that the structure extends through the mounting post.

Abstract: A hinge assembly including first and second hinge portions that are pivotable relative to one another. A pivot pin has opposite ends and is rotatably mounted in one hinge portion. The pivot pin and the other hinge portion are configured to allow the ends of the pivot pin to be threadably fashioned to the other hinge body.
