    Abstract: A single piece, threaded safety closure cap for sealing the open end of a container. The closure thread is continuous and a locking shoulder is integrally formed along the upper surface of the thread for engagement with a corresponding locking shoulder disposed on the lower face of the container thread when the closure is in sealing position on the open end of the container to prevent removal of the closure by simple reverse rotation.
