Abstract: A method for assisting selection of an accommodation by an accommodation search system includes receiving user credentials from a user device; receiving trip parameters from the user device; determining a basic list of accommodations that correspond with the trip parameters; determining one or more factors that apply to each individual accommodation of the basic list of accommodations; applying a weight value to each of the one or more factors that apply to each individual accommodation of the basic list of accommodations; aggregating the weight values of the one or more factors that apply to each individual accommodation to determine an aggregate weighted score for each individual accommodation of the basic list of accommodations; sorting the basic list of accommodations into a sorted list of accommodations based on the aggregate weighted score for each individual accommodation; and providing the sorted list of accommodations to the user device for viewing by a user.

Abstract: A system for integrating travel and expense data includes a communications interface configured to facilitate receiving travel and expense data in disparate formats and a processing circuit coupled to the communications interface. The processing circuit is configured to receive first travel and expense data in a first format; receive second travel and expense data in a different, second format, the first and second travel and expense data include a plurality of expense transactions; remove erroneous portions of at least one of the first or second travel and expense data; apply a matching algorithm to the first and second travel and expense data to generate a similarity score to identify that the first and second travel and expense data are related; identify each of the plurality of expense transactions of the first and second travel and expense data as trip-related expenses or non-trip-related expenses; and analyze the trip-related expenses and the non-trip-related expenses independent of each other.

Abstract: A method for calculating a traveler stress index may include retrieving a dataset including transaction data on a plurality of trips from a storage device; calculating, using at least one processor, a maximum possible lost time value for each respective trip in at least a first subset of the plurality of trips; calculating, using the at least one processor, an actual lost time value for each respective trip in the first subset; summing the calculated maximum possible lost time values and actual lost time values to determine a total MPLT value for the first subset and a total ALT value for the first subset, respectively; and generating a stress index for the first subset by dividing the ALT value by the MPLT value.

Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing travel criteria for a meeting are disclosed. A set of attendee originating cities may be specified along with the number of attendees from each attendee city. The system then determines various travel scenarios for each destination city in a database. An ordered list of scenarios is presented. Ordering of the list may be determined by various criteria such as the travel cost of the scenario, total mileage for travel to the destination city in the scenario, or total CO2 emissions for the scenario. Additionally, the costs may include telepresence costs associated with using a telepresence facility for the meeting.
