Patents Assigned to CWW-GERKO Akustik GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 6319968
Abstract: An acoustically effective, bituminous mass which can be applied hot by means of a flat extrusion mold contains an addition of a thermosetting resin or thermosetting reagent combination, plus bitumen, polymers and/or wax as well as fillers such as aluminum powder or zinc powder, powdered graphite or mica powder. This addition is added to the mass at temperatures under 125° C., so that the polymerization reaction does not occur until a subsequent heating.

  • Patent number: 6199613
Abstract: An apparatus for applying a pad to a component has a flexible diaphragm held in a continuous frame for holding the pad. On its front side which faces the component when the apparatus is in use, the frame has a circumferential, resilient gasket. Through a vacuum connection, a space between the diaphragm and the component is to be attached to a vacuum source. By that the pad applies itself against the component.

  • Patent number: 6152259
Abstract: A noise-deadening laminate board configured for noise deadening having a bituminous layer more than 1 mm thick, bonded to one side of a thermal insulation layer of foam, felt or the like, and an adhesive layer on the other side of the thermal insulation layer for adhesion to a component to be improved acoustically, the bituminous layer, thereby being located on the outer side of the laminate board.

  • Patent number: 5823301
Abstract: A brake pad has a support made of two metal sheets bonded together by a damping layer. The damping layer is formed exclusively from a crosslinked plastic adhesive in a thickness of about 75 .mu.m to 100 .mu.m, and is either a peroxide-crosslinked polyacrylate or a peroxide-crosslinked silicone adhesive.
