  • Publication number: 20250003907
Abstract: A method and system for characterizing media, in particular dielectric media, using a multifrequency resonator that is positioned remote from the region to be characterized and which is excited and interrogated remotely via inductive coupling to a probe. A reader measures, via a single channel, the complex impedance of this probe when it is coupled to the resonator and when this resonator interacts magnetically with the region to be characterized. The impedance is spectrally analyzed in order to extract therefrom individual complex impedances for each of the resonance frequencies of the resonator. These individual impedances are processed in order to calculate electrical properties of the medium, such as permittivity and/or conductivity, which provide information on the nature and/or change of the medium. Also, a multifrequency resonator provided for such a system or method.

  • Publication number: 20250007176
Abstract: An array device composed of individual multifrequency passive resonators which are not electrically connected to one another. These resonators are formed by interrupted transmission lines that close back in on themselves and which are nested within one another, each formed of a group of two or more parallel tracks, and are paired with one another contactlessly around one or more dielectric layers of a substrate. Such an array is used in particular to modify an incident magnetic or electromagnetic field, and/or to carry out impedance matching by being placed between an incident field and a body or object to be treated or observed. It is also used to improve a method for contactlessly characterizing a medium to be investigated, via inductive coupling of one or more of the resonators of said array to a probe connected to a reader.

  • Publication number: 20240364960
Abstract: This computerized method for audiovisual delinearization allows one or more digital video files to be sequenced and the sequences generated by the sequencing to be indexed, by virtually cutting the one or more digital video files into digital virtual sequences, each bounded virtually by two sequence time markers. The method is intended to produce and automatically select virtual sequences of each digital video file, the file fragments corresponding to the virtual sequences then being able to be extracted from the digital video files in question to be viewed or recorded in a new digital video file.

  • Patent number: 10742239
Abstract: A polar code decoding method in which a first decoding attempt by successive cancellation is performed and in the case where the decoded frame is erroneous, an ordered list of bit positions to be tested in the frame is generated, the order relation being given by a metric of first error, the value of this metric depending on the reliability of the decision about the bit as well as on the reliability of the decisions about the bits preceding it in the frame. For each of the positions of the list, an inversion of the bit and a decoding of the subsequent bits are undertaken, doing so as long as the list has not been exhausted or the frame has not been decoded without error. In case of failure, a new decoding attempt based on a double-inversion of bits can be envisaged.

  • Patent number: 10651872
Abstract: An in-between layer partial syndrome stopping (IBL-PS) criterion for a layered LDPC decoder. The IBL-PS syndrome is obtained by applying the parity checks (Hr,r+1) of a couple of a first layer (r) and a second layer (r+1) on the variables after the first layer has been processed and before the second layer is processed by the decoder, the decoding being stopped if said in-between layer syndrome (sr,r+1) is satisfied for at least a couple of consecutive layers.
